Food was amazing. My opinion the best pasta in the area.
Parking: Less than 15 to 20 parking spots.

So, I found this gem of restaurant. It is locally owned, and they work really hard, and they can cook. I have this pork chops glazes and peaches on top. red skin smash potatoes and coleslaw. everything was great. they told me they just recently open since a lot of work road has been done. I hope you guys give it a try because they have something really good. amazing deck with a stunning view to the river, patio heaters and good wine (and also cold beer for $2.50, I don't know for how long). the food took about 20 minutes to come to my table, but it is not fast food remember that. I will definitely come back.

The service was only surpassed by the food. It’s so uncommon to go to a restaurant and have every employee truly appreciate that you are there. The food could not have been better. Exceptional!!!

Visited on a Friday evening and got seated with no wait, kind of a red flag because other restaurants were packed. Service was great, atmosphere nice. Entertainment was annoying and food was lackluster. This place just isn't on par with others in the area, and would not return.

we ate there awhile ago sat on the deck nice views waitress was nice but knew nothing about the menu or prices when the food arrived i was surprised i had the best fish and chip platter ever and ive been in london and scotland all in all great food nice people plenty of parking

Before leaving Huntington West Virginia I emailed with and spoke to the manager of this restaurant about working as a server. I emailed her my resume. I moved to Wheeling and was hired at the this Rivers Edge. The lady didn’t tell me they had no customers. I got the impression that I would wind up as a kitchen aid there. I wanted to be a Server and work with the public. I had previously worked as a host. And was good at it. One night a table of 4 suddenly became a table of 12 and I was excited thinking I was going to make money. But the staff all swarmed the table one server even took over the checks. One back of the house staff was very aggressive blocking my path as I was trying to walk. He also got loud shouting something that sounded like the German language. Two of the servers were verbally abusive. I quit.

This place was absolutely terrible. The lobster baked pasta was horrible had absolutely no flavor. My fiancé had the chicken with the avocado cream it had no flavor either. The only good thing we had during our experience at the Rivers Edge was the cinnamon butter for the bread. Oh by the way forgot to say that the sweet potato was microwaved. Who dose that are we cooking in a fast food restaurant. Idk

We were a little wary given some recent bad reviews, but decided to give it a try. Went on Saturday for dinner and sat on the outdoor deck. It is pretty clear they are short staffed, but who isn't these days? The staff that was there was super nice and the food was excellent and came out in good time. Will definitely eat here again.
Excellent food. My filet was done to perfection and the garlic potatoes were delicious. The views are incredible and we had fast and friendly service.

We waits to be seated because the hostess was outside smoking finally came in and seated us waited forever waitress finally came and brought bread. Took drink orders after 30 minutes we had no drinks no one ever came back to the table do not go

The good was good, but every aspect of the service was poor. Other tables received bread, but we never did. Our salads were slow to come out, and the entrees thus came out too soon. The server was not terribly attentive either. Do not recommend!

On a long road trip it seemed like a fun idea to be able to eat lunch out on their deck overlooking the river. Restaurant was empty, waitress not happy to see us. With the setting could have been great - but food was mediocre - service poor. Sadly reflects the whole town. No need to return.
