Food is bland with extra greasing. Place went downhill. 3 entrees, 3 rangoons a soup and 5 eggrolls..90 bucks. And no utensils! Like what?! We are never ordering again. Horrible

Silver chopsticks (Elm Grove) usually gets my order right but there are those few times. My fault when I forget to check the bag before I leave. Food is expensive.

Great Chinese food. I highly suggest this place. Very authentic and much better than local Chinese restaurants.

Ordered vegetable lo mein and got chicken in it. When you're paying $40 for 3 entrees, you'd hope they'd get the order right. We live too far out to make it reasonable to go back and get it fixed. It was overpriced for the food quality as well.
COCKROACHES!!!! We've recently gotten take out from this place. Saturday May 17. When we got home and opened my container of sweet and sour sauce my husband noticed something black in it. As he fished it out we noticed was a cockriach. We immediately told the kids to stop eating and threw everything away. We called them and told them what happened. The woman who answered seemed very panicked and overwhelmed and offered us a voucher for our next visit. My husband said no way! We would never return and we wanted our money back. She took down my husband's name and number and said they would call us back. Surprisingly they did and gave us a full refund. Yes the Health Dept was contacted.
Food was okay. Major problems: fried rice was dry and crunchy, shrimp and cashew only had a few cashews and 6 shrimp. Chicken and broccoli didn't even come close to filling the container. The lo-mein was good, but again didn't fill the container it came in. At $52 I would expect pints and quarts to be full. I will continue going to the china wok where the food is consistent and portions are appropriate.
Very good food and service!
This place is no longer a buffet

Servers need a personality. So glum. My hubby tried to joke with her and she just stared at him n turned and walked away.

To a potential customer: AVOID!!!
To the owner: please shut this place down before you make someone seriously ill. So many reviews in the past year alone indicate a lack of care and straight up negligence. The general tso's has been described as racid, rotten, stale, FISHY! (yes, fishy chicken), and our experience was no different. So instead of paying for a nice dinner, we paid for a dose of food poisoning from chicken that made me say," did they accidentally give us general tso's shrimp?". Just look at it this way: if the state of the restaurant's bathroom was horrific and the public can freely see and access that, just imagine what horrid conditions the kitchen finds itself in.
Unless Gordon Ramsay reboots Kitchen Nightmares and gives the Silver Chopsticks a visit, I'd advise anyone and everyone to stay away (unless food poisoning is your thing). It's a shame because it used to be a decent place, but 24 hours later and I still feel sick and wish we never went.

Usually don’t leave negative reviews…..however….what happened to this place? Took the family out thinking we would get a good Chinese meal like in the past. What a disappointment and the food tasted terrible. Ordered General Tsao’s chicken and could not eat much of it. Tasted like rotten fish? Won’t be coming back! Sad to see it go downhill. Should have known something was wrong when we were the only ones in there and it was 5:00 pm…..
