This place is no longer a buffet
Servers need a personality. So glum. My hubby tried to joke with her and she just stared at him n turned and walked away.

To a potential customer: AVOID!!!
To the owner: please shut this place down before you make someone seriously ill. So many reviews in the past year alone indicate a lack of care and straight up negligence. The general tso's has been described as racid, rotten, stale, FISHY! (yes, fishy chicken), and our experience was no different. So instead of paying for a nice dinner, we paid for a dose of food poisoning from chicken that made me say," did they accidentally give us general tso's shrimp?". Just look at it this way: if the state of the restaurant's bathroom was horrific and the public can freely see and access that, just imagine what horrid conditions the kitchen finds itself in.
Unless Gordon Ramsay reboots Kitchen Nightmares and gives the Silver Chopsticks a visit, I'd advise anyone and everyone to stay away (unless food poisoning is your thing). It's a shame because it used to be a decent place, but 24 hours later and I still feel sick and wish we never went.

Usually don’t leave negative reviews…..however….what happened to this place? Took the family out thinking we would get a good Chinese meal like in the past. What a disappointment and the food tasted terrible. Ordered General Tsao’s chicken and could not eat much of it. Tasted like rotten fish? Won’t be coming back! Sad to see it go downhill. Should have known something was wrong when we were the only ones in there and it was 5:00 pm…..

Placed smelled so much like cigarette smoke, the bag my takeout was in even smelled like it. Food wasn't fresh and I've never tasted General tso like this before. Overall a bad experience and regret spending my money on it.

Used to love this place, for years, especially the BBQ ribs...I'd order from them just for the ribs and pu pu platter. Months ago, I dined in and ordered the ribs, which were TERRIBLE! Tried again, thinking maybe they had an off night, and same thing. They are cutting corners and its definitely not the same as what I remembered. Never again!!!
We ordered a QUART of Hot & Sour soup to go with the food we ordered. They gave us a PINT.Then when I opened the container there were 2 bits of pork and about 5-6 slivers of bamboo shoot. That was it. I used to think their Hot & Sour was the best. This was not even mediocre. Very disappointing. IF I order it again I’ll probably insist on checking the soup before leaving with it.

Not sure what has happened to this place, it used to be good but seems to have gone down hill over the last coupleOf years. Took one bite of egg drop soup and it was inedible; tasted like gelatinous broccoli water. All the food seemed to have too much cornstarch with thick sauces. I don’t think we will ever be ordering from here again. Would not recommend.

Ordered General Taos chicken and tasted like fish… had to be old chicken .. we couldn’t eat it and my daughter almost threw up when she took a bite.. when I called to complain the manager offered me 50% off my next order… I think that is unacceptable.. they should have offered a fresh order of the chicken or given me the entire amount back for this issue.. if I am paying $14 + for a dish it should be fresh, not old rotten chicken. It’s sad because I have been eating here since I was a little girl.. I don’t think I will be coming back

Went in and was told to seat ourselves. Usually a red flag but we love the owner and have been coming here for years. Sat down...said owner came to our table wearing anapron( red flag)and asked if anyone got out drink order. She took our drink order(3 waters) and said she'd bring menus. Anyway. Long story short, we waited. And waited. And got up amd left. For the past few years, silver has gone downhill. Service, and quality. Golden was fresh amd awesome, and service was good. Sorry owner. Prob won't be back. Not the first time.

We ordered takeout because our usual place was closed. The tofu was rubber and bland. My husband had a slimy piece of chicken that made him gag. My daughter described the lo mein as , " it tasted like barf."
