This has been my favorite Chinese Restaurant since the Chinese Restaurant in downtown Wheeling closed in the late 80's or 90's. It has to have a new chef, because I have repeatedly asked for my General Tsao's Chicken to be spicy and it's not. They did away with sweet n sour pork, so I ordered sweet n sour shrimp well that was a major mistake because someone either forgot to put my container of sweet n sour sauce in my bag or chef doesn't put it on the dish. Cause as you can see in pic no red sweet n sour sauce. That ruined my appetite. You know when you get yourself looking forward n have your mind n taste buds wanting a certain dish to then be disappointed. So, food is getting more bland. So sad. Now I see why there isn't much business there. Drinks from bar are exceptional.

Food is bland with extra greasing. Place went downhill. 3 entrees, 3 rangoons a soup and 5 eggrolls..90 bucks. And no utensils! Like what?! We are never ordering again. Horrible

Silver chopsticks (Elm Grove) usually gets my order right but there are those few times. My fault when I forget to check the bag before I leave. Food is expensive.

Great Chinese food. I highly suggest this place. Very authentic and much better than local Chinese restaurants.

Ordered vegetable lo mein and got chicken in it. When you're paying $40 for 3 entrees, you'd hope they'd get the order right. We live too far out to make it reasonable to go back and get it fixed. It was overpriced for the food quality as well.
COCKROACHES!!!! We've recently gotten take out from this place. Saturday May 17. When we got home and opened my container of sweet and sour sauce my husband noticed something black in it. As he fished it out we noticed was a cockriach. We immediately told the kids to stop eating and threw everything away. We called them and told them what happened. The woman who answered seemed very panicked and overwhelmed and offered us a voucher for our next visit. My husband said no way! We would never return and we wanted our money back. She took down my husband's name and number and said they would call us back. Surprisingly they did and gave us a full refund. Yes the Health Dept was contacted.
Food was okay. Major problems: fried rice was dry and crunchy, shrimp and cashew only had a few cashews and 6 shrimp. Chicken and broccoli didn't even come close to filling the container. The lo-mein was good, but again didn't fill the container it came in. At $52 I would expect pints and quarts to be full. I will continue going to the china wok where the food is consistent and portions are appropriate.

Very good food and service!
This place is no longer a buffet
Servers need a personality. So glum. My hubby tried to joke with her and she just stared at him n turned and walked away.
