Service and atmosphere were great! The four of us had te French Onion Soup as an appetizer, very, very good! My wife had filet oacar, my daughter and daughter in law had the ribeye and I had prime rib. All were delicious, prepared perfectly and very tender! The baked potato, mushroom and onions and risotto were all great as well. Overall wonderful meal!

We have been here many times in 15 years. 15 years ago it was amazing, years later it was so-so. The last 2 times, it's been amazing again. We were a party of 2 with a 9:30 reservation. There was literally 1 table of 6 there when we arrived and that was it for the entire visit. We started off ordering 1 order of the crab cakes. 10 out of 10! The bread service is also delicious. The other person in my party loves the raisin bread while I love the olive bread. Our 13 year old son also wanted crab cakes so we ordered 2 orders to go. Next we ordered 2 filet mignons both Oscar style. Both were flavored and prepared marvelously! 1 medium rare and 1 medium well. We also ordered a side of asparagus and a stuffed baked potato to share. The asparagus was delicious and made perfectly. They were out of crème brûlée because of an earlier party of 14 sold them out of it. So, we ordered 2 pieces of cheesecake to go. The only negatives to this meal were, when we got home there was only 1 piece of cheesecake. Idt we were charged for it and quite possibly the server didn't hear me properly. She has worked there 17 years and she's always very attentive and does a great job as our server when we've had her several times. The stuffed baked potato was my least favorite. Mostly because I accidentally took a scoop of what I thought was potato, sour cream, cheese, and bacon, which ended up being about a forth of a stick of butter that wasn't melted. Mostly because the potato was cold on the top, however, it was still very warm inside. All our other food was nice and warm. Lastly, the hollandaise sauce was my second to least favorite. It was actually very bitter, I assume too much lemon, and I love lemon. It just didn't taste no where near what it normally does. However, even with those slight issues, it was still a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back and have reservations for Valentine's Day. It's been our tradition for over a decade.

Waited over 20 minutes for our cocktails and they were wrong when they finally arrived. Dinner and appetizer were excellent but waited along time for dinner to be served, we also experienced issues with our check. Staff didn't know how to split the bill in thirds or redo checks individually. Only option was to split the check in half. Menus stayed on table until after dinner was served. Wait staff could use some training. Everyone was very pleasant.

We had the mid week dinner special for two. Service was initially a little slow, but once we got started it wasn't bad. The dinner for two consists of a shared chopped salad, two six ounce filets, mashed potatoes, asparagus and strawberry shortcake. We were expecting a small plate os salad but each of us got a large plate of salad which was very good. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were very tender and the mashed potatoes and the asparagus were good. The best part was dessert. A giant piece of strawberry shortcake which we couldn't finish. The only down side was the group six obnoxious and loud patrons sitting at a table in the front of the restaurant their loud talking and laughing carried over the whole place. It really ruined the atmosphere. Overall I would highly recommend The Pointe and their dinner for two.

Steak has too much salt on top. I would request them to hold or salt less. I want to taste the meat not the salt I ordered shrimp as a topper for the steak. It appeared the got shrimp cocktail put a mayonaise coating but barely heated it. It was ice cold 8n center. I might as well ordered shrimp cocktail. Took a while th bring bread to table

From beginning to end this was a fabulous experience. The young lady who sat us, took note of my Mother being disabled & put us in the small dining room off to the side. It was so comfortable. Our server was above & beyond. She anticipated every need & checked on us often. The food was delicious & it was prepared perfectly. I love coming to this resturant for that special treat that awaits you with every bite!

Every ingredient was fresh and organic, the highest quality possible. Matched with easily the one of most delectable steak and mashed potatoes we’ve ever had. The icing on the cake is literally the most freshest delicious strawberry shortcake you’ve ever had.
Great environment for an intimate date with your special someone!
