This used to be my husband and I’s favorite restaurant in the area. The last few times that we have had dinner here the food has been horrible. The excellent fish sandwich is now what appears to be a piece of previously frozen fish( The kind that comes in a box in the grocery store) on two pieces of white plain bread. The chicken salad platter was awful. No flavor and very dry. The sweet tea was not good whatsoever and we changed it for Dr. Pepper. We’ve loved this place for years and have recommended to our friends but just can’t do that anymore. Kinda sad honestly

The food was great. The service was terrible. Two hosts walking around doing nothing and it it took us 10 minutes to be sat. They were not busy. The server was even worse. Drink refils took forever, we sat and waited on our check for an insane amount of time. I thanked her for something and she turned and walked away. They need to learn some hospitality here.

We really enjoy Uncle Pete's! Every time the family comes to Wheeling for a few days, we always take them to Uncle Pete's! Prices are fine, but the food is outstanding! Worth every penny! Servers are very nice and the restaurant is always clean! One the Top 10 restaurants in the Ohio Valley! Not open on Sunday or for breakfast.

Did take away of the Ruben sandwich & Mac & cheese! Ruben was amazing! Lean meat, coleslaw & an extra tangy dressing on toasted rye..spot on. Mac & cheese was just ok. Friendly staff person & quick on order.

When they were at their old location, The food was way better. anymore it's just meh, nothing special.

The last two times we were there we had to wait an hour and 2 hours to get our meal. And they were not busy. Plus they got are orders wrong.

For the cost of $50 for a lunch for 2. There are way more tasty places in wheeling. We will not be back.

As a vegan, I enjoyed the Diabolo pasta ordered with no cheese.

Surprisingly comforting and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere inside.

Rude waitress. Asked for napkins and silverware 2 times after the meal arrived. Mediocre food.

This was my second time in. We came on a Saturday so my expectations weren’t super high. It wasn’t packed, but it took about 35
minutes (conservatively) to get our food after ordering. The smoked wings appetizer was good and came out quick, but that was the only food my wife and I had in common that night and our stomachs were upset until the next morning. I had a Georgia Reuben and it was a 4/5. My wife had the steak salad. The steak tasted ok but overall it looked like a school lunch salad with steak strips. Our daughter ordered a grilled cheese and it was insanely oversaturated with butter to the point that she didn’t even want to eat it and she eats anything. The wait was absolutely abysmal and the servers seemed overworked. I know it’s a local “go to” but we won’t be returning.
