The food was very meh. Especially for the price, I expected much better. They were out of several items on the menu as well. I had a burger and it was mid. We also ordered spinach artichoke dip and was basically cheese dip with a little bit of spinach. It tasted alright, but not what was expected.
My wife ordered haluski. The menu says it came with egg noodles, but the meal didn't have any noodles when served.
The atmosphere was dead. We were there at 5:30 and there were only two other parties.
Service was fine, but with a slim crowd, it took our good longer than expected. The waitress did her best, but she was put in a tough position having to tell us multiple items were unavailable. She also told us the chef had to leave in an hour so we should get our order in quickly.

It was really hard to choose what to order the menu is full of great ideas. I got the big dill it was delicious great combination of flavors. The fries are perfect and homemade ranch always wins me over. Whenever in the area this is where I'm going to eat. Thanks

Loved this place! We were out site seeing and found this place. The service was top notch! The servers were very friendly and recommended other places to go see on our visit. The food was great and I highly recommend the fried french toast sticks with handmade cream cheese dip! The atmosphere is very friendly. Parking was a breeze and the place was very clean. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere looks nice on the inside. The customer service was ok. I ordered the frog legs and I was highly disappointed. These were the smallest I have ever seen in my life. The honey lemon pepper seasoning I had on it was delicious. So we asked could we get some of the sauce to go and that we would pay for the sauce. The chef told the waitress that he didn't have time to be making a sauce if we were not placing another order. So I do not plan to go back again.

Been here many times since its beginning, through all the changes, and I’m always excited to see the growth of this restaurant. Super creative and tasty menu. Constantly keeping things new and fresh. Lots of exclusive food events through the year as well. A must-stop spot in the Ohio Valley! Staff is always super friendly and quick as well.

We were looking for a different place for brunch and this hit the spot perfectly! Seeing where everything is sourced from on the menu showed that community is important. It also did not disappoint. We loved everything… coffee with cream , farmer Eric’s eggs Benedict, and the lemon and blueberry waffles with sausage…. All delicious!
How does someone make eggs this good???

Is this place still open? Traveling thru the area for a few days and it's closed during listed business hours.?

Great food. Unique menu but closes way too early!
I met the owner, Matt (Vagabond) Welsch during a culinary competition. He was one of the judges. He had a rough but constructive and helpful critique of my dish. So today I decided to come up to his restaurant and try it out. I came up around 4:30 with a friend and we were seated promptly and immediately given menus.
Our waitress, (I unfortunately did not catch her name, I wasn't paying attention) brought us a glass of water with ice and asked if we would like anything else to drink. I'd like to thank her specifically for providing water immediately, it transforms the restaurant experience.
I ordered a plate of stuffed jalapeños, the salmon dish, and one of their desserts. My friend ordered one of their BBQ burgers and strawberry corncake.
The stuffed jalapeños were phenomenal. They had a delicately flavored filling and were wrapped with perfectly cooked smoky bacon. The side of ranch tasted very fresh and had a nice, zesty tang.
The salmon came with a side of corn and a potato salad. Personally, the salmon was overcooked, but I understand many prefer it well done, especially in the Appalachian region. However, the seasoning on top was delicious, with fresh herbs and a thin lemon ribbon. The skin was perfectly crisp and had a beautiful golden brown shine. The corn wasn't anything special, it tasted similar to school lunch corn, but that's a special flavor to some, it just wasn't my thing. The potato salad had a very clean potato flavor and the celery brought in a contrast of flavor that really sated my palate.
The cookie sandwich I got for dessert was much larger than expected and was well worth the money. I asked for whipped cream instead of ice cream (the meal before was hefty) and could only eat half of it. The cookie itself had a nice salty background and delicate chocolate drizzle for added flavor. The whipped cream had a gentle vanilla flavor and was whipped very well.
Overall I had a pleasant experience and enjoyed the food. The service was fantastic and my water glass was kept full at all times. I would return more often if it wasn't out of the way (I live over an hour away). The atmosphere was pleasant, but some things felt out of place like a sign with Japanese lettering for example, but perhaps I just didn't understand it's representation.
I do recommend this place, it was flavorful and fun!

Food was good.
Wait was a little long with half the tables being open.
I don’t think they were expecting the rush they had for Mother’s Day.
Wow! Do yourself a huge favor and walk the extra two blocks to eat here before the show at the Capitol Theater. The Irish Stew was spot on and the Soda Bread was PERFECTION!
So glad we found this place ! Robin was a fabulous server by the way!!
Breakfast skillet had NO flavor tasted like baked eggs only NO . It was $21 and wasn’t good AT ALL. Waitress NEVER filled water or even asked if we needed anything or how our food was. I told her how we felt when we left NO big deal to her. VERY DISSATISFIED
