Gustard's Bistro

Looked impressive but the food was nothing exceptional. Perhaps my expectations were unreasonably high based on prior reviews. This place has great potential, I just had nicer experiences with bistros. Granted, I was only there for lunch.

Our recent dinner here, while in town for an event, was nothing short of amazing. The food was so good that everyone was offering up their plates for everyone else to try because you just had to have some. The porkchop in particular is truly phenomenal. Our waitress was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. This restaurant is absolutely worth the drive, and I look forward to returning.

First off, the pork chop. I don’t know what kind of sorcery they’re using back there, but this thing was so juicy it could’ve hosted a pool party. Perfectly seasoned, grilled to a divine crisp, and thick enough to qualify as a flotation device. I briefly considered proposing to it, but I didn’t want things to get weird with my wife.

Then came the banana pudding. Sweet mother of dessert gods. It’s not just the best banana pudding—it’s the Beyoncé of banana puddings. Silky, creamy, and topped with a cloud of whipped magic that made me question every life decision that didn’t involve eating more of it. I would fight a raccoon for the last spoonful. And lose. But still worth it.

Stephen is an amazing chef and host. We have eaten at Gustard’s a number of times over the past two years and have never had a bad meal. Every time we hold a business dinner there, the food is the topic of the night. The pork chop is a favorite and the beef tenderloin is always perfect. Be sure to save room for dessert because the banana pudding, bread pudding, and chocolate mousse are the best we’ve ever had. Stephen and his team are so accommodating, even opening for us to hold a private event. If you have a chance, do not pass up a meal at Gustard’s!

The bread basket was outstanding , the pork chop was very good, and the fundy salmon was delicious. Hannah was a terrific server. Gustard’s is our new favorite restaurant!

Party of 6 that are picky eaters: nailed it.

Cocktails and local craft beers were on-point. Appetizers: wings and bread basket varieties were tasty. Pumpkin bread was the best I’ve had.

I and another had the Apple Turkey sandwich. Cranberry bread was different, huge but I ate it all because it was heaven.

Others had the burger, fish & chips, and pasta.

If you can satisfy my party then that says something. 👏🏼🙌🥰 A true gem of a place. Our young server was very attentive and professional to our big party.

Have been excited to finally try Gustard’s. Just tried to go to dinner with my dad for my birthday. Two tables were waited on right in front of us who had been seated after we were. We weren’t even acknowledged. 👎🏻 Taking our $100 dinner elsewhere

Great lunch on the patio.
Had the Gouda dip with awesome homemade potato chips. Then we split the fish. Glad we split portion was large and delicious. Would definitely recommend.
