Cute little cafe with a cozy atmosphere.
Great food choices
I ordered a chicken salad on marble rye, and my favorite ordered breakfast.
The chicken salad was creamy and seasoned to perfection, and the marble rye was fresh and delicious
I have never had Parmesan french fries before, but I am a new fan now!
I can’t wait to return and try some dessert
There was a variety of different delectable choices for desserts. I highly recommend the Hummingbird Café.

Went to theor food truck and was bummed that my pastrami sandwich was literally just a half of a sandwich… for $13. I asked if it was a mistake and they said it wasn’t. Sandwich tasted good but the experience and value left a bad taste in my mouth. Won’t go back.

Food was catered for my daughter’s bridal shower and everything was delicious! Many positive comments on the salads, sandwiches, and lettuce wraps. A cake was made per my request with raspberry and cream filling and decorated with pink icing with edible pearls. Just gorgeous!! Staff were very accommodating and pleasant.

Hummingbird catered my granddaughter’s wedding Saturday. The food was amazing! They have many gluten free options! The presentation was beautiful. They cater and have two restaurants, one on Fort Ashby and one at the Cumberland airport. They are great!

Food:My recent visit to The Humming Bird left me thoroughly impressed. Opting for the classic burger and fries, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. The burger exceeded my expectations with its fresh-cooked meat and perfectly toasted bun. The attention to detail was evident in every bite, from the thinly sliced pickles to the flavorful, freshly cut fries. It's rare to find such care put into every aspect of a meal, and I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. For those seeking the best dining experience in the Cumberland area, look no further than The Humming Bird, even if it means crossing the river into Wiley Ford, WV.Service:The service at The Humming Bird was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and the attentive wait staff wasted no time in informing us of the specials. Throughout the meal, they checked on us regularly, ensuring that our needs were met and our drinks were promptly refilled. The efficiency and friendliness of the staff only added to the overall dining experience, making us feel welcome and valued as patrons.Atmosphere:What sets The Humming Bird apart is its unique location at the airport, providing diners with a one-of-a-kind dining experience. As we enjoyed our meal, we were treated to the sight of gliders soaring overhead and the occasional medivac helicopter taking off—a constant reminder of the bustling activity outside. The atmosphere was lively and exciting, offering a perfect blend of great food and captivating views. Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, The Humming Bird delivers on all fronts.Overall, The Humming Bird is more than just a restaurant—it's an experience. With its exceptional food, top-notch service, and unbeatable atmosphere, it's a must-visit for anyone in the area. Ordered the Christmas breakfast box. There should have been more information given online about how much of everything you would get. Very small amount of food for almost $40 with tax. The sausage gravy was horrible and so were the biscuits. 3 biscuits for 2 people and 5 pieces of bacon for 2 people is crazy. The cinnamon rolls and brownies were great. But this was very overpriced and disappointing for the cost - especially with the MAIN course being horrible. Also, when walking in, the orders were not done which was fine but whoever I was greeted by first was rude. Probably not coming back and wouldn’t recommend it.
