Despite the negative reviews, me and a buddy opted to try this place for breakfast, and while it was a long wait, we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was originally reserved for railroad workers, but they recently opened up to the public, and it appears those railroad workers eat well. Plenty of breakfast platters to pick from, and lunch sandwiches. My buddy enjoyed the Trainmaster while I went for the Casey Jones. The prices are also very reasonable. If you don't mind waiting awhile, I would encourage you to give it a try. Worth the wait.

This place is horrible. It took an hour and a half to get the order. They don’t bring out whole tables at once. Half our party got to eat and the other waited. With only 8 people in the restaurant, they could do better.

Opened late, banged on door while watching woman watching tv. No apology, just opened the door to be hit in the face with a nasty bleach concoction that was nauseating. Gut said turn back..... Sat down ready to order while waitress stood halfway across the room watching tv still, asking if I'm ready. Already frustrated with service and fully knowing why I'm the only one in here. Ordered, gut told me to turn back. Food came out ‍‍‍‍‍got French fries instead of home fries with a debate about what home fries were. WTF where am I!!! Came out of fridge with home fries in hand and asked if this is what I wanted Also asked if I wanted jelly...asked for strawberry and they only had grape. Pancakes were not cooked all the way, eggs were blah. Went to pay and waitress/cook said she couldn't get the machine to work and asked how much it was. I said that's your job and she replied with "I don't know what I'm doing, the guy OD'd last night who was supposed to be here." I asked if it was an employee, she said yes...get me out of here NOW!!!! Worst restaurant I have EVER been to right before a big race, thanks Tracks End!!! Change your name to Dead End because that's how this place makes you feel.

Great open space and we were greeted by Lucas, the most wonderful and kind spirit with outstanding culinary skills. The food was amazing, so were the environment and the hospitality of Lucas. We are definitely coming back to this historical restaurant! It deserves 5 star rating!

We were the only people in the place. Ordered coffee which she had to make fresh, when served in a Styrofoam cup that had been crushed with coffee grounds floating on the top and a full spoonful in the bottom of the cup. The waitress was more concerned with the man that came in after us who must have been a regular. Will not go there again!

Just stopped through traveling south. This was said to be voted best restaurant in the area in 2020, but I would beg to differ. The servers were friendly. The food was dry and took a very long time before we got it. My friend and I were the only ones in the place. I got a chicken quesadilla. They use sliced instead of shredded cheese. They were out of onions and mushrooms, and out of sour cream. I had to settle for ranch, which was not very tasty, but I needed something for the dryness of the food. A bit disappointed indeed

Always amazing! Lucas and Renee are awesome! The food is always delicious and priced more reasonable than a fast food restaurant and MUCH better. I LOVE the homestyle fries. If you are passing thru or live in Williamson, this place should definitely be on your list! I am in Williamson regularly on business and this it the only place in town I will eat. I love it!

Maybe it was an off day...greeted by " know what you want" after standing at the counter for about 5 minutes. Not good morning or any other pleasantries.. then when I ordered the Waitress/Cook asked me what came with order. The food mediocre. Won't be back.

This is a solid breakfast option in Williamson, WV. My partner is from Williamson and knew of the place already when we visited. He described it as a home cooked breakfast for a decent price and he was right. The menu has your standard breakfast latter options with cute locomotive names inspired by the setting. They also have omelettes--which are deconstructed with the egg at the bottom and the other ingredients on the top. Pancakes and unlimited coffee are also available. Since I visited during COVID, there was only one person working so it was a bit slow. Thankfully, we were the only ones there and the woman working was incredibly nice and patient with us as we figured out our order. The best part about this place was the pricing. You get a very decent meal for anywhere between $5-7. You just can't beat that. Also, don't miss the new mural just up the block. It's a must see if you're in town!

We were staying in a hotel down the street so we decided to walk over, upon entering we were told we must have masks! Not a problem, we walked back and got our masks, however after returning there was a man standing at the counter placing a to-go order without a mask…while the same woman that demanded us to be masked had he’s pulled down under her chin. Then when the waitress came to get our order she wasn’t even wearing a mask! I don’t mind the rule of having to wear a mask,
