I came across this fast-food spot during my long drive from Yellowstone to Minnesota, and it was such a great find! The service was excellent, friendly and fast. The food was freshly made, and you could really taste the difference. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and super crispy, and the onion rings were some of the crunchiest I’ve ever had. Definitely a great place to stop if you’re passing through

This is just a bar. Not a bar & grill. We went in for some food and got rejected because we were not allowed inside because we didn't have are ID. Pretty good food just make sure you have an ID and are 21 to eat there.

We were traveling through while visiting the Sheridan area, we had hiked the paradise falls and then did the loop through to buffalo and then story where we’re staying-long story short, our tradition is, after a hike, find a great place to eat and have a beer. Well, we happened upon the stockman’s bar after a search and we’re so glad we did. It was Sunday, so we were doubtful that we’d find anything open. We pulled up and went in, being the only customers, we were a little skeptical. We were greeted by a gentleman, assuming he’s the owner, anyway, we ordered a few beers and I ordered the jalapeño popper burger with fresh cut fries and my husband ordered the French dip. Right away we were served with ice cold beers and I’m assuming the wife of the gentleman started preparing our food. After a short wait we were presented with what was an amount of food that was enough for a family. This was the best burger and fries ever. I wished I had enough room to finish, because it was that good. If we lived here, this would be on frequent rotation. Strongly recommend!!!

Had lunch here with relatives and the chicken strips & onion rings were burnt! Hamburger was charred & burnt! Can't believe the food was even brought to the table! For being newly opened they seriously need to do better or won't be open very long.

Ordered food here. Im from the south so I ordered extra thinking it would be small portions. Big mistake. I wasted 2/3 of my food because there was way to much to eat in one sitting. Food is phenomenal. Must stop place in Basin!

Kacee and Jake have completely dominated the food and beverage corner in Basin, Wy. From the most affordable wings to the best burgers around, including one off specials like my absolute favorite jalapeño stuffed pork chops. Prices are great, food is great, atmosphere is great.

My husband has been doing some work on a house here in basin. We live in Cody Wyoming. When we ordered the person on the phone was so excited and so welcoming to take our order. They let us know when to pick it up, when we picked it up they were also super nice and just load it up or to go boxes! every single thing was good! We got the BLT, the Philly, and the French dip! I wanted to eat all three! Haha Thank you for being so nice and so giving! I love seeing good service like that and such amazing food I’m telling you!
