Dined for my first time at the Steamboat Deli tonight. Three of us shared shrimp scampi and meat lasagna, which were very authentic and delicious. From the asparagus appetizer to the tiramisu, every bite was a culinary delight. The service was also great. I would highly recommend this gem!
My wife and I found this deli by chance. I can't count how many times we've driven by and never knew they were there. I ordered a sandwich and my wife had a salad. The people were kind and willing to look into the ingredients for a food allergy. The sandwich was smaller than I expected for the price, so was the salad. They had some shirts for sale, but it didn't feel inviting enough for us to browse their merchandise. If you are looking for a local small place to sit and eat a sandwich, it is ok. Nothing spectacular, just, ok. The owner said she is going to start serving homemade pasta. We might be back just out of curiosity.
Amazing sandwiches. Although the cashier Samantha seemed like I was causing a issue just be being there. Everyone else seemed really nice.
great sandwiches and the service was just as great.
My girlfriend and I have been there twice now, and always look forward to our next visit. The first visit was by happenstance, we walked by and saw their specials board on the sidewalk. My girlfriend saw they had a Bahn Mi, and has been craving one since she came here so we stopped in. We got it to go, got back to the car parked by the library and DEVOURED it because it smelled so good. We liked it so much, we decided to go back immediately and try something on the regular menu. The muffuletta sounded intriguing, so we split that, and fell in love with the olive condiment spread on it. Today was our second visit, and sure enough the Bahn Mi (a rarity in Casper) was on the menu again...BUT they also had a shrimp Po Boy (another rarity) on the menu! Keeping with our mantra of the first visit (one special, one regular menu item) we went with the Po Boy; and I'd had my eye on the southwestern wrap since our last visit...so we also chose that. We DEVOURED those, AND I got the Italian sub to go for lunch tomorrow. Favorite deli in town, and looking forward to the next visit. Thank you for the full bellies ladies, keep up the good work.
