This place was absolutely delicious! It was kids friendly. I ordered the halibut, and it was cooked perfectly! I will typically order fish at restaurants, and most of the time, they are overcooked; however, this delicate fish was perfect! It was buttery and lemony.

Ok we have traveled the US near and far and overseas. I don't rate restaurants usually because I know what a tough business it is. That said FireRock has a great location and atmosphere. Most of the staff is well trained however today we didn't get that. We ordered steaks and salads. The group next to us had a dynamo server. Ours was fresh off a 5 day break and lacked at every level unfortunately! This is our second trip in but I will warn you the steaks are not good. Cooking is accurate but quality of the beef is flavorless and tough. We were never asked at any level how our food was or why we didn't eat a large portion. Too bad it's close for us but strike two. Will grill our own next time or take a trip to the west end for dinner next time! Definitely not up to John's standards of quality.

Stop by the fire rock steakhouse, sat at the bar and had a very enjoyable dinner. Tea was tending bar and provided fast attentive service as well as providing great recommendations, especially on the rhubarb cobbler. Steak was cooked correctly to temperature and was better than the photo looks. Tender, flavorful, and you could definitely tell it was cooked over it wood fire which made it taste fantastic. (4.7 out of 5) being nitpicky I wish it were a bit thicker, but I would go back and have another one like this without thinking twice. Got some au Poivre sauce on the side and it was also excellent. Spicy soy sprouts with bacon were crispy and tasty. (4.6 out of 5) Rhubarb cobbler was warm, tart, sweet, tasty. Big dessert enough for two people to share. 4.7 out of 5 - finished everything off with a black cup of coffee. The next time I am in town, I will definitely be back to visit the FireRock for great food, excellent service and a chill fun vibe.

We had some time to kill in Casper today so after we finished hiking up on Casper Mountain, we headed to FireRock to grab a meal around lunchtime. I was a tad insecure that we weren't dressed up enough for this Steakhouse, but both the manager and our server Angel greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. We ordered the six cheese spinach Artichoke dip and it was creamy and delicious. The fresh rolls they brought out were fluffy and melted in your mouth. We ordered a rib eye steak that was cooked perfectly medium rare, with the bacon and cheese au gratin potatoes. The steak was well seasoned and flavorful, the potatoes were also a hit. We finished our meal sharing the lemon curd cheesecake which was delightful.
Everything from start to finish was top notch here and next time we are visiting Casper we will be back again. Keep doing what you're doing, because it is just right!

We had the Baked Bison Bolognese with a Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon; what a delicious meal! This is a top choice restaurant when I return to town!

The service was great however we had a problem with the cook on my wife's steak however they removed it from the bill and apologized. I would recommend this restaurant for this reason alone. Decent food and polite people so even with the steak issue I would recommend it easily.

Food is delicious. Bacon wrapped filet Oscar style was cooked perfectly and could've been cut with a butter knife. Server was good but food took a very long time to make it to the table. This happened both times we went. First time, tables that were sat after us received dinner before we even received our apps. All in all, good food just may need a little patience and don't plan on bring in and out quickly. I did take out twice. Both times I got the strawberry shrimp salad. 1st time, they didn't put the goat cheese and I didn't realize until I got home. You get 3 shrimp but they are very large. The vanilla vinaigrette is spectacular. Really accentuates the flavor of the salad.
