Refils were consistent, and the staff did check in with us throughout our dining experience. Will definitely diner here again! Also, try to Tijuana Torpedo Burger was awesome. And the peach tea was legit!Parking: Parking was slim, but it's busy for a reason!Kid-friendliness: Kids loved their meals as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to front of building with curb side drop off. Every time I go to J's Every thing is great the service, food etc.
Came in for a beer and some grub. I was jonesing for a burger, and J's Pub is close to the house, so..... I ordered an IPA that comes from the local Gruener Brothers brewery. And a house salad with blue cheese dressing. And a mushroom-Swiss burger, add bacon with onion rings. Service - really great. The young man didn't bother me, but he was attentive and friendly. Beer. It's a beer. A 22oz beer, so I'll only have one. I'm glad they have local craft choices. Salad. Everybody should start their meal off with such a great salad. It was large, fresh, tasty, and the blue cheese dressing was AMAZING! Blue cheese dressing is generally my litmus test for a good salad. This salad rocked! Enter the burger with onion rings. I asked for ranch dressing to dip the rings in...only because he asked if I wanted a dipping sauce. Rings were thick, and pretty decent. Not huge rings, but I'm happy with them. Burger. I cut off a small bit to see the cooked temperature. It was perfectly medium. So, still a little juicy. LOTS of bacon, LOTS of mushrooms, and LOTS of Swiss cheese. So, in other words, the bun was nicely filled. I asked for some mayo to put on it, and the friendly dude brought it right out. And it was real mayo, not that disgusting stuff they call 'salad dressing'. Took a big bite. VERY NICE! Last time I was at J's pub was towards the end of COVID to watch the Super Bowl while sitting at the bar. I wasn't hugely impressed with the wings, namely because the blue cheese dressing sucked. Now it doesn't. Friendly serving dude told me that they had changed the recipe, and now it was good. There is music playing in the background, but not too loud. The entire bar is busy with people, and most of the tables are filled. I'll be back. Good food, great service, and so close to Grandma's house. EDIT: I have to add. I'm from Teton County, Wyoming. Every time I eat in Casper and get such good food, I'm shocked by the bill. All of what I had came to only $30. a steal for all the food, and a beer. SECOND EDIT: My dude's name is Shane. Chris was our server and he is always so helpful, efficient and cheerful! I am a severe Celiac and get ill when I consume gluten. He is always helpful with what to order GF and if there is croutons or such accidently put on my salad, he always brings me a new one! Thanks Chris!
