We stopped here on a cross country road trip and the staff was excellent: Tai’yon was our server, and he was a breath of fresh air after traveling. He was attentive, inquisitive, helpful, and kind. He gave us recs for the area and made sure we had everything timely. He’s a gem! The hostess was cool too, but I didn’t get her name. Thanks y’all!

Kian and the girls that were working in the evening with him. Are outstanding for the service they provide and for being a chain restaurant. The food is consistently tasty. And if you're looking for the later evening sweet treat, the chocolate cake is excellent and the berry pie is pretty darn good also.

OK visit, food was OK, just like warm, not hot and fresh. Had chicken and biscuits and gravy, one chicken piece is size of McDonalds nugget hidden under one biscuit. Service was absolutely a slow experience. Waitress said bringing food right up, 15-20 minutes later someone else brought food. Drinks filled slow, not super bad service just slow. Dining area looks renewed and great! Will probably try again, as always good and bad days. Group was a 6 top, so hard to find servers that keep up with larger tables.

The teamwork I saw at perkins yesterday was amazing! We went in about 1:30 and our server Misty was super busy! Her manager Josh was out on the floor helping her bus tables and keep the dining room cleaned. The main dining area was full with more people coming in and the two of them greeted everyone with a smile. As food was coming out this one lady and her table decided they were more important than anyone else and caused a scene in the dining room. Misty handled it gracefully and Josh equally graceful got them on their way. Misty and Josh never missed a beat while dealing with an unwarranted out burst and from what I could see and hear she was the only one that had a problem. Will definitely be returning!

Dined in today around 2pm, the place was busy with most of the main area full and only one server in sight. The server, Misty, and the manager Josh were working hard to please every guest in the area. There was an older lady who disrupted everyone dinning experience with an unwarranted outburst. From what I gathered from her shouting she was mad Misty didn't bring her a box and FREE pie slice. However, in the time I was there I watched Misty and Josh bringing out massive trays of food while also still keeping the area clean for guests. Why are you throwing a fit when your server is clearly busy and the only one in sight?? From what I saw as soon as Misty had a second she was at that table and the lady was just shouting threats.
TLDR: If you're looking for a calm restaurant with servers dedicated to make your experience enjoyable, this is the spot for you. To Misty and Josh, you two kicked ass today and I will definitely be back and request either one of you. Don't let some Karen ruin your day, everyone could see how hard you were working.

Parking: The hostess saw us coming and was kind and held the door open for us.

Perkins is my go to place for good food! My two favorite servers Jenny and Tiesha always greet me with a smile and are top tier at customer service. You really couldn’t find any place better this side of the Rio Grande.
