Tried to order a turkey sandwich “we don’t have turkey.” Tried to order a ham sandwich “we are out” said I would have the special then. We were served rotten corned beef on dry bread…never again. It is sad what this place has become.

Hopefully someday they'll be able to go back to the make your own sandwich format. Bring back the radish sprouts!!!

Only one employee. Waited 40 minutes for sandwich to be started Took 5-10 minutes for each person in line’s order to be made. If a line waiting definitely not a quick bite. Nice atmosphere otherwise

This was my first - and last - visit. Nice concept, but a big disappointment. When I asked about an item listed on the specials board, the employee said it was a special from three weeks ago ... and nothing else. I had to ask what it was and if it was still available. I decided to go with a basic choose-your-own-fillings sandwich. The bread choices came from opened packages of sandwich bread like you would get at the grocery store; for a small price increase, they could offer fresh bread from Great Harvest Bread Co. just down the street! The sliced turkey was pulled out of a water bath. There were a number of ingredient options, and several of the ones I chose were also quite wet. In just the few minutes it took to sit down at a table in the restaurant, part of my bread was soggy and dripping heavily. I ate less than half of my sandwich. Oh, and the "refrigerated" bottled iced tea and other beverages were room temperature.

My girlfriend and I were planning to stop here for a sandwich after driving all day. Upon arriving at 1:45 pm, 15 minutes before close, the employee said he was "closing up at 2". Sure, fine, were not sitting down for a meal, we just want to grab a quick sandwich. After he ignored us for a minute, we got his attention and tried to order the fastest, easiest thing we could. That's when he explained that he wanted to LEAVE at 2, and didn't have time to make a sandwich. We asked if 15 minutes was enough time, and he said no, it can't be done, and acted like we were rude to have even come in. Does "Closing at 2:00" mean something different here?

Pretty chill place, good food, good selection of ingredients to put on your sandwich, only bad thing is they charge by the pound/oz

What a disappointment. For about 14 years the Sandwich Bar was my go-to spot for a quick and delicious breakfast burrito on my way to work. The owner, Stan, was great and his food was on point. Sadly he retired and sold the business last year. Prices have gone way up and quality has gone WAY down! $5.75 for a subpar breakfast burrito that doesn't even have egg in it? I had to throw half of out after trying to gag it down. The lady working was friendly but she had left a cigarette laying out on the counter where the food goes. The whole place smells of cigarette smoke and the cleanliness has gone way downhill. I don't plan to ever go back.

The new ownership doesnt have enough staff working during lunch hours. This used to be a quick in and out delicious sandwich place, but now that the staff has to make them for you its incredibly slow. It took about 30 minutes for 1 worker to make 5 sandwiches. The ingredients don't look or seem fresh, and they were out of a lot of things (like turkey). Will probably not be back until someone else tells me its improved, I wish the owners were paying attention to the new ratings and could bring it back to when it was great. Weve been coming for years and now were so disappointed.

Best breakfast burritos in town! I love all of the options for sandwiches at lunch too.

I went in to get sandwiches at 11:50 am on a Saturday. They had almost no bread ready in the display and they had minimal meat ready for the sandwiches. They told me that it still needed to be sliced and I could wait until it was ready. I was coming to get it to go quickly at lunch time and would hope they would have everything ready at lunch time. The staff was nice, but none of the ingredients even looked that fresh. Why would I choose you over a chain sub/sandwich place? Really wanted to love it!

After about 4 weeks since the last time I tried the breakfast burrito, which was terrible after the change of the new management and ownership. I expected that the breakfast burritos would be back to the original recipe. It was not. I didn't think it could get any worse than before, but it was. It was a day old, was cold with a crusty hard tortilla. It was also very dry. It was the worst breakfast burrito I have ever had, and couldn't finish it and threw it away. I will not ever visit the Sandwich Bar again.

Came in today for the first time in a while. The girl working there was so very rude and cussing at whoever called their phone. I paid $12 for a salad that was barely a handful of lettuce. She rolled her eyes and huffed at everybody. Its very sad to see such a wonderful place get sold out to people that obviously don't care about keeping up with how the previous owners kept it going for so long. I won't be back and I don't recommend anybody go there.

The food was disgusting! We returned the burrito it was so awful and then ordered chili and a baked potato. The baked potato tastesd like it had been baked last week and so we asked for another one and she said she was sorry and would bake another one because they didn't do it right. She brought another one out that tasted just as bad but piled it up with about two cups of sour cream to try to cover the taste. she also admitted the burritos were a day old and they shouldn't have been selling them. We left there 20 bucks less and empty stomachs. What we did eat I'm worried will come back to haunt us later!
