Issue with Service at Subway in Flying J Truck Stop, Casper
Today, February 28, I arrived at Flying J Truck Stop in Casper, WY at 9:30 PM. Inside, there is a Subway, and I wanted to order a sandwich. However, there were no employees present.
I called, but no one answered. Then I went to the front desk and asked for help. The employee said she would look for someone from Subway. She checked inside—no one. Then she went outside and saw that one of the Subway workers was just sitting there. When she came back, she said: “I don’t know where they are.”
I decided to wait since the website states that Subway is open until 10:00 PM. It was 9:45, and the employees were still absent. Five minutes later, a worker arrived and said: “We are already closed.”
When I asked why, if Subway operates until 10 PM, she replied: “Well, yes, but we are already closed, we are cleaning.” Her name is Ray.
I went back to the Fuel Desk and asked if there was a manager available. A lady named Electa came over. I asked what time Subway closes. She said, “10 PM.” I said, “It’s 9:50 now. That means it should still be open, right?” “Yes, it is open.” “Then why can’t I place an order at Subway?” “I don’t know. That’s not my responsibility. I have no authority over them. I work here.”
Well, thank you for your indifference and lack of responsibility!
No one takes accountability for anything. Complete disorder. When they should be serving customers, they sit outside. When they should be paying attention, they don’t see anything. Shameful and unacceptable.
This is unacceptable service! I specifically stopped at this truck stop to refuel and grab food, but instead, I was completely ignored. If your posted hours say you’re open until 10:00 PM, customers expect to be served until that time—not to be turned away early because employees decide to close whenever they want.
If anyone is planning to stop here, be prepared that Subway might be closed even if their schedule says otherwise. Or the staff might simply not be there, and no one will help you.
I would not recommend this truck stop for a stop and will definitely never return!

War paint girl says it's just Subway wow oh wow ....... People man do they not know it's not about them but the store ......

I stopped and was debating between pizza from the gas station or a sandwich and being healthy. Well, I should have gotten the pizza. I got food poisoning so badly that I was purging everything that I had eaten in a week until the wee hours of the next morning.

Three girls working. None in sight! Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come from the back. I went out, then back in so the buzzer let them know there is a customer, then they were a little governing rude.

I went in to grab a beast sandwich, a pricier sub. The only employee was just pulling a full trash out of a can. When she saw me she put the trash on the floor went back behind the counter without washing her hands, threw some gloves on and asked me my order. Being hungry I was going to risk it, till I asked for lettuce. There was not even enough lettuce to cover the sandwich and it had even lost its green color. I don't really blame the employee, Working by yourself is stressful and every other subway usually have 2 or more employees. I threw away a 10 dollar 6 inch sub. Will not be returning to this subway.

Angie was fantastic, super friendly, and efficient at making our sandwiches for us. She was very knowledgeable and made them for us with a smile. The restaurant was very clean.

No way..this guy keep me waiting for nothing.There was no line at all.He was preparing a sandwish fir whom? him self?!?!He told me he couldn’t attend me.it happened at 6/3/24 around 4:39 pm.I just couldn’t buy anything.Very disappointed.

Quick, efficient and my sandwich wasn't lacking on meat, veggies, or sauce at no extra charge. I should have got the name of the sweet blonde girl that helped me. Good spot to grab a bite and sitdown without dealing with obnoxious people.

They mess up every order that they ever get. This was supposed to be a Blt It's bacon and banana peppers and bacon is cold ...bums lol can't even build a sandwich.
