Really comfy and inviting atmosphere with excellent quality and tasty food! We had the omelet and red potatoes and steak and eggs.

Just okay. Food has definitely gone downhill since changing owners. The soup used to be thick and flavorful and now it is thin and tasteless. The bread used to be amazing, soft, and sometimes even warm. I got three pieces wrapped up and all were butts of the bread. It's hard and cold and if I had to guess 4 or 5 days old maybe? The crackers are so stale that I'm pretty sure they're the same ones from when the original restaurant opened back in the day.
Since becoming the " Bluebird " I have been here probably five or six times and was never that impressed. I try to get people to go to lunch there but nobody wants to. The restaurant is nostalgic for me since I went to NCHS. Every Thursday (2002-2005) we would get cauliflower soup to go and there would be a line out the door and almost no one sitting in the restaurant. That's why what happened today was kind of ironic.

The cook was angry for some reason and kept coming out to berate the other staff. She yelled out from the kitchen that they were not to take anymore to go orders. A customer told the girl at the front, who was very sweet, that they had tried to call to make an order and apparently the cook had taken the phone, like a child. Seems like the solution to fixing your restaurant is pretty obvious...

Super cute and quaint. The food was really good. We went in for breakfast and the serving size was just right. They did get my eggs cooked not how I ordered them but the server was very quick to fix the mistake so it’s all good. Great experience overall. Just the right number of tables and accommodates small parties as well as bigger families.

Enjoyed the Monty Cristo which was made a different way but was delicious! It was French toast, a fried egg & ham. So was the blueberry pancake. Yum!

Tricky to find healthier options. Meals come with massive options (omelette came with potatoes and a bread and I couldn’t just order the omelette)and order a la cart is wild $6 for a side of meat.

Very weak example of biscuits and gravy, nice folks but not impressed with the food.

Sandwich was average, no different than a grocery store sandwich. It came with a small bag of chips for $14. I thought that was pretty high for what I received. Service was ok, never got my water refilled. I’m not sure if I’ll return.

I've seen advertisements for this café and because it shares is name with an old motel from back home, I've always passed. How sad am I right now!! I had an omelet and although a bit deconstructed.. it was delicious! They use real cheese not that rubbery plastic stuff!! Husband had the Monte Cristo and didn't leave a bite! Server was friendly and attentive without hovering. Definitely on our repeat list, thank you!!!

Stopped in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food tasted. I enjoyed the smothered breakfast burrito. I will be back.

Parking: plenty of free on-street parking

Wheelchair accessibility: one level. entrance does not have automatic opener - if this presents a challenge you may need to call when parking, for assistance with the door. Otherwise tables and chairs are easily moveable and seating is possible. *I have not used their restroom and don't know about restroom accessibility*

Atmosphere was charming - small and quaint. It was crowded so the service as a little slow. Reviews and pics made the food sound better than it was: kind of average.
