Overall, the service was very friendly, but the restaurant was very dark. My eggs were absolutely terrible, like someone else mentioned they were slimy (and a little grey) and they tasted funny. The bacon was good, but my pancakes were at best below average. Coffee is four dollars, which seems very excessive. My wife had a veggie sandwich, which she liked a lot. I don’t like to give negative reviews, but my experience was pretty poor, while my wife had an OK experience. If it wasn’t for my wife’s sandwich and the friendly waitress, It would be one star.

Driving through Casper and needed a great place to stop for a breakfast. Google didn’t disappoint…and neither did Bluebird. Out server, Ashley, said they are a little hole in the wall but do a great job. She was right. Amazing food and awesome service. We will stop again when we drive through again.

Beautiful Day

My family visited on 7/5/2025 . The food was delicious and service was excellent. We sat in the back room (group of 9). The women’s restroom was very pretty too! Cozy cafe.

Extremely busy on sunday mornings.
Staff seems overwhelemed and unorganized.
Buscuits and gravy was not good.
Gravy was possibly the worst ive had.
Powderery and bland.same w biscuits, bland.
Hash browns also bland and blah.
Better breakfast joints in town.

I hate being negative on reviews but nothing was cooked the way we asked. Hashbrowns were raw even after sending them back they came back raw. Eggs were slimy when I asked for hard and service sucked. Maybe if the waitress would write orders down they would get it right. Oh and if the cook knew what he was doing it might be an OK place to eat. 1 out 10. I wouldnt recommend this place. Definitely go to Eggington's

Food was okay. My son's pancakes were cold. My potatoes were burnt and our to go order had half cooked hash browns and the biscuits and gravy were gross. Service was decent. Seating was cramped. Definitely not my favorite. Won't be returning

Coffee could be better for the price paid. Can get better tasting coffee at a cheaper price at blue ridge

Just okay. Food has definitely gone downhill since changing owners. The soup used to be thick and flavorful and now it is thin and tasteless. The bread used to be amazing, soft, and sometimes even warm. I got three pieces wrapped up and all were butts of the bread. It's hard and cold and if I had to guess 4 or 5 days old maybe? The crackers are so stale that I'm pretty sure they're the same ones from when the original restaurant opened back in the day.
Since becoming the " Bluebird " I have been here probably five or six times and was never that impressed. I try to get people to go to lunch there but nobody wants to. The restaurant is nostalgic for me since I went to NCHS. Every Thursday (2002-2005) we would get cauliflower soup to go and there would be a line out the door and almost no one sitting in the restaurant. That's why what happened today was kind of ironic.

The cook was angry for some reason and kept coming out to berate the other staff. She yelled out from the kitchen that they were not to take anymore to go orders. A customer told the girl at the front, who was very sweet, that they had tried to call to make an order and apparently the cook had taken the phone, like a child. Seems like the solution to fixing your restaurant is pretty obvious...

Super cute and quaint. The food was really good. We went in for breakfast and the serving size was just right. They did get my eggs cooked not how I ordered them but the server was very quick to fix the mistake so it’s all good. Great experience overall. Just the right number of tables and accommodates small parties as well as bigger families.

Enjoyed the Monty Cristo which was made a different way but was delicious! It was French toast, a fried egg & ham. So was the blueberry pancake. Yum!
