Love the new, larger location! The owner is attentive and the food is amazing. If I could give the turnovers 6 stars, I would. We shared two with our table after brunch on Sunday, and both the apple and lemon were incredible. Going to the Derrick is quickly becoming a family tradition when guests visit from out of town.
Food was tasty, just a few of our tweaks to make it perfect was suggested to the genuinely interested staff personn asked our opinion. Very happy staff and friendly along with cheerful atmosphere.
It's been a long time since I have been surprised eating in a restaurant. I ordered the corn beef hash and eggs. I received exactly that, presented entirely differently than the way I was expecting the plate to look! A pleasant surprise! You better be hungry if you order this dish!
