I spent $31..99 today for a rack of ribs from here! Quite honestly, the ribs were so dry that they basically were not good at all. The outside is so dark that it just peeled off and then the meat that was underneath it is very solid and dry. FALL APART DRY! Dickey's Barbecue Pit is a friendly and welcoming restaurant, offering a country atmosphere complete with music. The staff are kind and considerate, making it a great place for families and children. They have plenty of gluten-free options available. The food is delicious, with the brisket being a standout choice, especially appreciated for its bark. The original sauce pairs well with the meals. Customers enjoy the cozy and dimly lit ambiance, which adds to the overall experience. Service is mostly self-serve, but staff are patient and accommodating, even when the restaurant is close to closing time. Some improvements could be made to the bread and side portions, such as adding Carolina style sauce at the condiment bar or bringing back the ice cream machine. Overall, visitors find the atmosphere welcoming and plan to return for more.
