Never disappointed. Hathaway's buffets and holiday events are superb. Great food, with amazing selection. The ambiance is elegant but not stuffy, making it work well for couples or families and casual to dressy. Excellent and friendly wait staff. I highly recommend Hathaway's.

We arrived and were seated quickly, appeared to be 3-4 staff working. We were brought menus and water, then someone came to take order. We were never offered drink menus or asked if we wanted something other than water. We aren't local, so we thought maybe they didn't serve alcohol and we don't do soft drinks. My husband ordered the lamb, medium. I ordered trout, but we were told they didn't have trout or salmon (salmon and trout were both listed on my menu, but my husband's menu didn't even list one of those). I ordered the pesto pasta instead. We were each brought a roll and at that time my husband's water glass was already empty and it wasn't filled until after they came to clear our roll plates. The food came and my pasta was fine, not something too hard to mess up. My husband's lamb was WELL done, very well. No pink in sight. Halfway through our meal a couple other tables were seated and they ended up with beer and other drinks at their table. We weren't going to ask at that point, we nearly finished. We had looked forward to going here but thoroughly disappointed with half the food and service.

Took forever to be seated.. only 2 tables of customers. Apparently one woman was doing it all- seating people, waiting on tables, bussing tables. Food was so-so. Server disappeared after bringing our food. Finally asked if we wanted a coffee refill - as we were ready to leave. Disappointed in a place that looked like it was going to be exceptional.

There was one poor person working the dining room the night we went. She was seating and waiting tables. , so the service was slower. The menus in our party were different. Two showed Trout and Salmon. Mine showed no Trout, but did have Salmon. Needless to say, they had neither available. Why even have them on the menu? The last time I dined here two years ago there were no seafood options, despite having them on the menu! Overall, a pleasant experience and the ribeye steak was very good!

Last year was a lot better, that was why we went back. The food choice was more limited, price went up (of course like everything else but it went up considerably). The quality of food went down, the servers were friendly but very unsure in their way of serving. The children were running around and it was very noisy, all in all, I was very disappointed and expected more for what I was paying, way overpriced. Not going back next year.

Expected the Christmas buffet to have more of a variety better quality and replaced food dishes instead of 3/4 empty or totally out. So disappointing with the cost of $89 . Will not attend another Christmas buffet. On a highlight , ambience was nice and waitress attended often. I'd highly recommend reviewing your cost for what you served today. I'd also recommend better quality meats and cooked veggies and more to offer.

The quality of the food for the Christmas buffet was excellent. It was visually pleasing, fresh food and delicious. The ambiance was pleasant and we sat in the bar area which had a fireplace that was lit and Delightful. The buffet was set up nicely so you could get to everything easily. We had a wonderful server. We would recommend this to anyone. It made our Christmas dinner relaxing and just right.

THIS WAS THE WORST WASTE OF MONEY WE'VE EVER SPENT IN MY 55 YEARS OF LIFE! FOR CHRIATMAS EVE AND 668.00 WE ATE DRIED MAC AND CHEESE, CHICKEN FINGERS, CHEESE AND CRACKERS, SLIDERS, 1 FORM OF POTATOES, THE ONLY DECENT THING THEY HAD FOR THAT KIND OF MONEY WAS THE PRIME RIB. WHAT WHERE WE SUPPOSED TO DO JUST EAT THAT? THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE TOO, ALWAYS WANDERING WHEN WE WOULD GET DRINK REFILLS AND WERE NEVER TOLD THE MIMOSAS HAD TO HAVE THE OJ ADDED, AT THE DAMN BAR! THIS PLACE WAS SO HORRIBLE ALL I WISHED IS THAT OUR NICELY DRESSED FAMILY WOULD HAVE DRIVEN TO COLORADO TO GOLDEN CORAL!! WE WOULD E ATE BETTER AND SAVED HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!! I CRIED MY EYES OUT, BECAUSE WE LOST OUR FAMILY MEMBER RECENTLY AND DIDNT HAVE TIME TO PLAN FOR A CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER! WHAT A JOKE THIS PLACE WAS!!

On Thanksgiving (November 23rd, 2023), I decided to drive to Cheyenne, Wyoming, to have my holiday dinner. There weren't much options in Denver. Cracker Barrel was sold out. Boston Market went out of business. I didn't want to risk a low quality meal from Applebees. McDonald's and El Pollo Loco were open, but I wanted a turkey dinner. Therefore, I decided to make a dinner reservation at the Little America Hotel the night before. I got a time for 3:30pm. I did arrive at the hotel two hours early, and let them know about my arrival. I ended up being seated at 3pm if I can take the dining lounge. I ended up preferring it since it was quieter than the main dining room. I had a small table with a padded chair. The dinner came as an all-you-can-eat buffet. For my first round, I got roasted turkey, bacon & onion stuffing, whipped mashed potatoes, green bean casserole with mushrooms, roasted acorn squash, buttered sweet potatoes with brown sugar, and turkey gravy. The turkey was cooked perfectly, and it was not dry at all. The mashed potatoes were smoothly whipped to the preference of most people. I'm weird where I like the potato skin and chunks. However, I like its creaminess. I thought the stuffing was excellent. The addition of bacon & onions blended very well. I normally don't enjoy green bean casserole very much, but this place did it very well. The green beans were fresh, cooked properly, and topped with a homemade mushroom bisque. I thought the sweet potatoes were cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed its buttered brown sugar. The roasted acorn squash was also prepared well. That's normally something I don't have for Thanksgiving. The turkey gravy also had abundant flavor and a viscous fluidity. For my second round, I got prime rib, along with a second helping of mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green bean casserole. Instead of turkey gravy, I got brown gravy. That gravy was also delicious. The prime rib was high quality and it was cooked perfectly. It came medium rare, and I was shocked that a buffet would have steak this good. All the food was similar what one would find at a gourmet steakhouse. It was pricey, costing $94 per person after tax. However, you get mimosas (champagne mixed with orange juice) and unlimited gourmet food. For my beverages, I ordered ice water, two cups of coffee, & two mimosas. I thought the service was decent for such a busy day, and the decor was excellent. If someone in Colorado doesn't want to cook a Thanksgiving dinner, come up to the Little America Hotel in Cheyenne for a great replacement to a home meal.

For the price the food could have so much better. They did have a variety but maybe focusing on less variety and more on quality would make the price more acceptable. Also they had us sitting right by the door and we were continually in the way of people being sitted, wait staff and even the bus people. I could hardly wait to get the hell out of there to be honest!!

It was just my son and I for Thanksgiving, and for our first time not having thanksgiving dinner at home we were pleasantly surprise. It was a great meal and a great time for the two of us who drove down from Livermore Colorado.
