Had to back 2 days in a row. The service was amazing and the chef takes pride in his work. I had the meat lovers omelette and my son had the biscuit bowl. Both were amazing. The waitress was absolutely on point also.

I ordered a short stack of pancakes and it came with whipped cream on top and some kind of bizarre sugar glaze. Like what you’d put on an Easter ham. It was gross. Practically inedible. I had a few bites but couldn’t choke it down. This is the first time I have ever left a plate of pancakes unfinished.
When I explained to the waitress how this isn’t what I expected they acted like making an in house caramelized syrup was a normal thing to do and left without offering any solutions or offering to remove them from the bill. We waited a long time to order and I’m going to leave hungry and get breakfast someplace else I guess.
It’s too bad too because the pancakes themselves are good. Fluffy on the inside and have good flavor, but the syrup is beyond awful.

Best diner on earth? Fantastic food, huge pancakes with whipped cream and caramel syrup, giant Texas French toast. All the staff appeared effusively friendly, especially our server Bobbi Rae and Del the owner. Charming building constructed around a food trolley that's been servicing the railroad community for 100 years. Lovely experience.

The food was delicious, and Daniel was a wonderful and thoughtful waitress. I have some dietary restrictions and she sent above and beyond to make sure everything I wanted would be safe for me.

We went in with 7 people and were already planning on asking to split up 4-3 since it is a relatively small diner, when we asked to be seated they refused to serve us. Their reasoning behind this was the kitchen was too small and they wanted business from multiple different smaller groups rather than our group who was all separate checks anyways. Absolutely pathetic I will never go back there nor recommend it to anyone.
