Mi Tierra Mexican Restaurant

Ordered for pickup. Tried to call and the guy was so rude! Then, we didn't get everything we paid for. Hard to get to, parking is weird.

It was pretty quiet. Almost closing time but the server was kind and patient.

My friend and I visited Mi Tierra for dinner tonight, and it was not a good experience.
Chips were too hard and cold, salsa was just one of kind that I could get from Walmart. I ordered port Chimichangas, and the meat wasn’t fresh because there was a subtle bad smell of pork. Also, the server asked us if we want our plates smothered, so I said yes and thought it was included in the plate. But it was not. So I had to pay extra $1.35 something for the sauce. If it wasn’t included, the server should have asked us if this is ok to up charge. We would like to try new restaurants, but I wish we just would have gone one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in town. I am sorry but this one needs to serve better!

They wouldn't honor the $5 off Coupon that I brought in (A picture of my Computer Screen) on my phone. * Currently, my printer is out of Ink so I can't/couldn't print the coupon to Bring In; but I showed my computer screen showing that I DID Download the Coupon. The Manager, at the Prescott Location, REFUSED to Honor the Coupon. Really, for FIVE Flippin' Dollars, you're telling a customer who's Ordered and then driven in to PICK UP their Order, you WON'T HONOR the $5 off coupon on your Prescott Mi Tierra Mexicana Website? That's B.S.; and "NOT" HOW TO "Run a successful business!" NEXT: I ordered TWO CHEESE Enchiladas for my Wife; and they made TWO CHICKEN Enchiladas -- WRONG ORDER! Jesus, you can't create a successful/correct Order; AND you won't honor your $5 Off Coupon because I couldn't "Print it Out" to Bring In? Use a Post It Note and Write: "Customer brought in $5 Coupon" on it for your Drawer/Till. My two favorite things when it comes to eating out are eating somewhere for the first time and supporting local businesses. I was able to do both when I ate at Mi Tierra for the first time recently. This is relatively a new restaurant still as it opened over a year ago. It was a smooth visit. Everything went well. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. I will say it was very humid and hot inside the restaurant though so I'm not sure if they have air conditioning or if it was broken. As for the service, it was satisfactory. I have no significant complaints in that area. Now getting to the food it was good. There isn't much more to add to that statement but It wasn't bad. The food came out fairly quickly. It was fresh and hadn't been sitting. Overall, the food wasn't spectacular but it wasn't bad so it was right in the middle. I would describe this restaurant as a middle-of-the-road type of restaurant. That's not being negative as much as it sounds like I am because it's a solid restaurant and a good addition to the Mexican restaurant stable in Cheyenne. My rating for this place would be closer to a 4.5 than a 4. If you love Mexican food then I would say give this restaurant a try. I wouldn't be opposed to eating here again because nothing negative happened during my visit so it's worth trying again. I'm glad I tried this restaurant out for the first time and most of all I'm glad I was able to support this local business because places like this one are just trying to make it during these tough times.

Cant believe the good reviews for this place. My chili relleno was soggy, the rice was dry like it had been sitting out for hours, my Pina colada had no flavor and tasted like watered down pineapple juice. And to top it off there was a long women's hair in my food. They have me 20% off my hair food. What a joke for the price they charge.

Excellent and very friendly service only outshined by the amazing food. We had the Barbacoa we tried the enchilada sauce and both of the green sauces. They are all very flavorful. The Barbacoa was so tender we will be back for more. Fresh chips, warm tortillas and the beans and rice were wonderful as well. Thank you JC you were amazing!

Off the bat ask for JC. Came here off a recommendation from my cousin and she was not lying when she said the breakfast burritos were great. JC took care of my friends and I while handling the entire front of house himself but never neglected a table. Great work JC and Mi Tierra

This review is for the second time I’ve been here and having two different experiences is wild. The first time I was here I came with my family and the girl serving us was sweet but she gave the attitude that she did not want to deal with us. The food was good which is why I wanted to come back.

But this time around I was greeted and served by JC and man does this guy know what customer service is! As someone who works in the food industry and in management this guy is a gem for this place. My food came out in great timing and I let him choose his favorite things on the menu to try out for myself and his recommendations DID NOT MISS! He also made sure that my drinks were always filled and I was taken care of. Thank you JC for the hospitality and conversation.

Came here with friends and was greeted and served by one of the managers JC. SUPER solid Mexican food and a great environment to catch up with friends. If you ever stop by ask for JC and he will make sure you're taken care of, thanks for the hospitality fam!
