Solid spot in town for breakfast. Came Sunday 3/16/25, table for 2 and was seated within 10 mins. Ordered coffee which was very good. One of us got the waffle, eggs and bacon and the other got the Loaded Breakfast burrito. Everything was really good. The bacon is extra thick cut and crispy, waffles are tender inside and crisp outside with vanilla flavor. Burrito with half green Chile and half gravy was awesome, flavorful and huge. Worth the pricing and they take cash or cards. Will definitely be back.

Didn’t try the food because we never got it. It was for a carry out order. Was told 15 min wait. Waited 50 mins, kept getting excuses. Ppl were sat and served while we waited for two omelettes. Obviously we were not any priority so we decided to leave at the 55 min mark. Glad we didn’t pay ahead so didn’t have the hassle of refund so there’s a positive. As a local I won’t be back nor would I recommend.

We got to the restaurant about 1 hour 15 mins before closing. We were seated quickly, order taken promptly, & food arrived about 15 minutes after that but it went downhill from there. It's now less than an hour to close, we are the only customers in the restaurant and we don't see our server again until about 15 minutes to close. I ordered toast but no jelly on my table and since I couldn't find my server, I had to search other tables for it. Husband ordered a country burrito which he was happy with but my meal was far less appealing. I ordered a chicken fried steak omlette with fried potatoes and toast. My omelette wasn't to bad but only flavor was from the onions. The chicken was EXTREMELY overcooked to the point the meat looked almost burnt and had NO flavor to it. Fried potatoes were air fried and weren't even seasoned (no salt). I know going in close to quitting time is going to cause some issues but with over an hour before they closed would have hoped for slightly better at least we didn't walk in at 10 minutes to close.

We stopped here for a late brunch on Sunday. The wait time was reasonable. After we placed our drink order, my water was delivered but his brewed coffee took a bit to show up. Fifteen minutes later, we placed our food order and were never checked on again. Our server didn't stop to refill our drinks or to provide an explanation of why the food was taking so long. After an hour and 15 minutes we decided to just leave. We always try and hit up the local places when we're out of town. This was a big disappointment.

Cute house with very cute decor in a historical landmark area. I'm not impressed with their steak or food. Typical diner However, it was worth the stop, considering the history.
The food wasn't good. The chicken fried steak burrito tasted old, sent it back and still got charged for it. Got the French toast and it was raw in the middle. Service was sooooo slow.
