Last night was the first bad experience we have had at Hathaways. The server was slow and unexperienced. The hostess told us to ask the server about dribk specials. We asked, she said there were none. We had to ask for the bread that cones with the meal. She never filled the water glasses unless we asked. We sat 40 minutes with mothing but water. The steaks were not presented in the usual manner. Based on this 2 hour experience, I would not go back.
The food and service was phenomenal! We had dinner on Saturday night (elk swiss mushroom burgers with aioli on brioche bun) and breakfast buffet Sunday morning. The Sunday breakfast buffet was out of this world: prime rib, salmon, bacon and egg souffle, create your own omlette var, fruits, pasteries, pies, crepes, French toast with whip cream and strawberries, bloody Mary bar - everything was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant! We will be back!
Holiday dining was not worth it. Food variety was lacking in the buffet, and did not accommodate food allergies well. The ham was a solid piece of fat and not good.
Way over priced for the meal first off, service was terrible as had to run here down and ask for things. Had to ask for refills at juice station along with clean glasses. Buffet area was not kept clean. The fact it was Christmas day we understand the cost is justifiable for that reason but the overall experience was a serious let down.
Food was plentiful and great service from Bernadette. Well worth the price considering it was Christmas Eve as well.
Hathaway's experimented for Thanksgiving 2025. The building is still charming and the food was prepared by an expert chef.
No drink orders until after our second course was delivered. Our appetizers came after the first course. We waited over an hour for our main course. It was cold upon arrival. Not just chilled but cold. For the price and experience overall I would suggest to skip Hathaways. At least for thanksgiving. Our family was very disappointed.
I request 2 bedroom and I received only one when I tried to change the room hannah told me they don’t have a 2 bedroom but they gave a bed-sofa and they could give me blankets and pillows, they took me over 3 hours to give me the pillows and blankets
The duck and the meatloaf were quite good and reasonably priced, as was the wine. Our server was pleasant, and the food came out quickly.
Our waitress was the best part of the whole experience . Very limited menu. They have more dessert choice's than diner entrees.

We heard that there was a Sunday Brunch with a Carving Station so we came up from Colorado right away! It was delicious! The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly! They also had creamy horseradish and regular horseradish to go with it! Real Mashed Potatoes, not the boxed kind. The salad station was fresh! Even with being landlocked they offered Large Shrimp Cocktail and believe it or not fresh Ceviche! The desserts were good! For $34.99 per person you can’t beat it! My kids ate for free! We will be back!
Dinner was horrible, waited 20 mins to get the correct drink ( after 2 attempts) brought out our appetizer, then immediately brought out our salads. Then after another 20 mins, they brought out one plate, being with my wife I waited for hers. 15 mins later they finally brought out hers, mine had since cooled down.......the food was not that great for the price. The dining experience has definitely gone down from past years On the flip side, breakfast was great, service was spot on and food was delivered together and correct.
It is rare to find a restaurant with excellent food, atmosphere, reasonable prices, and such outstanding and professional service, especially after COVID. Thank you very much.
The ribs were overcooked and dry, the variety at the sides buffet was nothing more than average run-of-the-mill fare. Really nothing better than a low-end chain restaurant at nearly twice the price. On the plus side, the service was excellent and the ambiance good.
We visited during the rodeo....they had a special BBQ ON THE PATIO.....no ordering off the menu. Entrees were very pricey....but we were able to split.....just order an additional salad bar! The process was very confusing! Order entree...which came with corn on the cob! It was done outside on the pit.... You were told to go get your sides from the buffet.........entrees would be delivered.... We went to the buffet...which was good...lots of sides for choices...went back to our table....entrees were delivered about 15 minutes later! Our waitress was almost rude...and not efficient! We had to ask for silverware...and were short one glass of water! A very disfunctional meal! The music on the patio was very good...and entertaining!
