This is one of the better places for breakfast in Cheyenne. Nice location in the Old Depot makes this even more enjoyable. Some may be put off by it being next to the tracks but I think it adds to the experience.Great prices and huge portions make this a worthwhile choice for breakfast.

Ate breakfast twice at the Good Egg. Both times had delicious and generous helpings of food. The service was excellent too! Definitely will recommend this eatery to friends!

Took forever to get our food, when it came out it was cold and one meal had a hair in it. Waited another 20+ minutes for the replacement meal. No apology from our waiter or offer to fix their mistakes. Worst meal we’ve ever had.

Rude old lady called us basically called us a liar after she sat a party that came in after us. The young man that was in charge of the list was the one that did not take out name and told her that we were in fact there before the other party. If you like be called a liar by a shriveled old lady take your chance.

We came here while visiting our friends. I ordered the Bennies (Eggs Benedict) which was good although the ham was tough and the potato patty came out cold. Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating.

I had the Mexican Skillet and it was without a doubt the most DELICIOUS breakfast I've ever had. The way they combine the crispy potatoes with everything else made the meal pretty much the equivalent of crack-cocaine. Sooooo goood!!!!

Cheyenne, outside of Frontier Park, has very little to offer. And although everyone says to check out the Good Egg...it was just as disappointing as the rest of the culinary offerings outside of the Park. They clearly have poor management as their servers were not attentive and apologetic to the rampant slow service. Our table and 3 others around us all had 30-40 min waits to even get drink or food. We went for breakfast and it took 35 min to get just coffee and another 5 min for our server to figure out how to find creamer and sweeteners. Several of the tables around us simply gave up. We saw them later at Cheyenne Frontier Days and commiserated more.So hey, if you want to unify your patrons in a united hatred for the lack of service - mission accomplished.

The food took over an hour to come and the waitress was slow to refill coffee and water. The food was pretty good but half it was cold and had clearly been sitting in the kitchen. I probably won't be going back.

This great breakfast place in in the Depot. We had a great view of the trains as we ate. We enjoyed the Classic Benedict and the Chicken Fried Steak. We also enjoyed the beers! It hit the spot after a hike. The service was a little slow, but it was on a Sunday and they were busy!

I was working a job in the area and had a small window of time to grab something to eat quickly. This was the closest option. I ordered the “morning after sandwich” to go. What I got was a plate of scrambled eggs, potatoes, and ham. I asked if this was a sandwich and I was told “there is an English muffin under there somewhere. I left the $15 “sandwich” that I had paid for behind. The sandwich, invented in the 1760s is by definition a meal that you can eat in your hand. If you need a fork then it simply is not a sandwich. Apparently words don’t matter and we just call things what ever we feel like now. This would be like calling a bowl of rice and beans with shredded meat a burrito. This place may be awesome but i will never know because they can’t communicate properly. Food looked like a 3-4 and the place was a little dirty. Service was friendly.

I wish I could post a review of the food but I didn't even get a chance to try it. My mom, sisters & I came in for breakfast. We waited in the lobby for about 20 mins (watching employees walk by) before walking up to the desk (despite the sign saying "wait here to be seated") and learning we had to get on a wait-list. We waited another 25mins to be seated. When we were finally seated we were given breakfast menus, our server took our drink order and returned to get our food order, this is when we learned they stopped serving breakfast at noon (must have missed that on the menu?). We ended up leaving. If we had been greeted when we arrived we would have been seated well before noon and this would not have been an issue. It would also have been helpful if someone had mentioned (when seating us, when taking out drink orders, when getting on the wait-list...) the time frame for breakfast, as that's what we were there to eat....
