We ended up staying at a hotel right next to this little gem on a family road trip. We were tired from driving all day so we decided to walk across the parking lot to try this place out. It definitely did not disappoint. The whole family enjoyed what they ordered. Even my picky child enjoyed her kids meal. The food was amazing and service excellent. The chips and salsas(!) were probably the best I’ve ever had. I would not have guessed you could make such a good mushroom salsa. I just got a combo meal but everything was great. Good local beers the same price as coors. I went midweek so not super busy but I imagine it’s packed on the weekend.
This may be good Mexican for Cheyenne but we would definitely cook it at home much better. The selection is very large in the menu. The Jalapeño Marg was tasty. The chips were standard, but had a noticeable stale mustiness. The beans and rice were also “standard” Mexican fare. The corn tortillas were store bought, but the street tacos were greasy. The fajitas were okay, but needed salt. The Birria was pull apart, but just okay otherwise. Not a bad spot, service was very attentive...
