My family loves coming here! 😄

This is one of the best spots I've ever been to. The food, service, and atmosphere blew my socks off. The NY steak was supreme. I will be back often. My wife and I were beyond satisfied with everything here. I'd give this place a 10 star if Google offered it.

Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and lovely staff. We had the 16oz steak with mashed potatoes and toppings which was exquisite. The key lime pie was delicious. Such a great place.

Not really a big place so you need reservations. Although it doesn't have a view, it is cozy and clean and has a friendly vibe. They have dependable hours and appreciate your business. The food is classic American fare and our rib steak was cooked as requested and had great flavor!

John was our bartender tonight and he was amazing! he greeted us quickly and was kind and friendly! John made sure we had everything we needed. timing on our salads, apps and entrees made for a good relaxing dinner. this was better than expected for such a small town I definitely recommend stopping here!

The food was incredible, and the portions were huge. I would definitely recommend to go for the amazing food.
However, the service was not what I expected.
It started with them bringing us all the same beer, even though we ordered different ones, and they completely forgot one drink. Then we ordered the steak, which usually comes with soup or salad, but they didn’t bring us any. When we asked about it, they couldn’t give us a straight answer and eventually said it was because they were running low on soup and salad. A few minutes later, the table next to us, which arrived about an hour after us, was served soup and salad.
The servers completely ignored us most of the time and just ran passed us, like when we wanted to order more drinks.

As I said, the steak was excellent, but I expected better service for those prices.

1. To eat:
When we asked, we suddenly ran out of the salad or soup that was served with the main courses. However, later guests got their salad or soup...and when we asked, they weren't even embarrassed!
The New York steak was good but too cold!
There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to side dishes!
2.About service:
I really felt like I was a second class customer...I've never experienced anything like that!
We were systematically ignored!
The inflated bill was then placed on the table in a cheeky and unfriendly manner.
Anyone who takes such prizes has to deliver in all categories.
3.to the ambience:
Since so much was wrong, the ambience plays a minor role.

Amazing food and excellent service. The restaurants in Pinedale told us to go here. If you are traveling thru or live here it is the place to go.

Well we came back! July 2024 and brought the family. Best steaks and service we have ever had. Steaks cooked to perfection. Won’t let me write a new review so I added on. Came all the way from Texas and I’ll just say we have good beef in Texas. This place is the best.

This was the best place we ate on our trip to Yellowstone. I have had bloody Mary's around the United States, and this is top 5!!!! Highly recommend. Food was extremely generous portions. Ruben had the best corned beef I have ever had. Puts NYC to shame!! Take this from an Alabama boy, this is great food!!!!!

Very friendly service and atmosphere. Was visiting from out of town and felt welcomed immediately. All the food was great as well. Enjoyed lunch so much, came back later for dinner. Highly recommend if you’re driving through or visiting.

We are not from this area ( not by a long shot) and accidentally stopped due to the need of a restroom break in the middle of, what felt like, a service desert...
We decided to go ahead & eat as it had been 6 hours since breakfast, but had no hopes for it being anything more than a fried food haven with formica tables and ripped vinyl chairs. We were wonderfully and gratifyingly incorrect in our assessment!! The Bear Den has a decor that is cozy, without feeling crowded, and outdoorsy, without a spec of kitsch . The wall art (all wildlife and environment photos by a local artist) was fascinating and gorgeously arranged. The food was fresh and delicious. The pulled pork was not swimming in BBQ sauce. The chicken club was well complimented by the fresh tomato, lettuce and avocado. The steak fries had the perfect texture and taste. The onion rings were a crisp, salty/sweet ring of perfection. Last, but Absolutely not least, our server was genuine, friendly and, just the right amount of, conversational. We highly recommend you try it!
