Very attentive staff. Never wanted for anything. They were on top of their game for sure.

Wheelchair accessibility: They made it easy to get in and moved chairs so hubby could get in with his wheel chair and all.

I decided to visit this local steak house while doing a layover in Dubois, and I must say this is a must stop spot. I ordered the 307 burger and sadly I got the wrong one. When I got back to my truck to eat it I noticed it was just a regular cheese burger with the fixings and not the one I ordered. Usually I’d go back and have it fixed but it was already a long walk there and back I didn’t want to do again so I decided to just eat it as is. I must say that was probably the best burger I’ve ever had even as a simple cheeseburger! It was Smokey and had such a strong but smooth taste with such tender meat! I definitely will be stopping here again next time I’m in town and hope to get the right burger next time or another one of the delicious items on the menu! :)

We had dinner here on
9/12/24. The food was very good. The bison medallions were maybe just a little under seasoned for my taste, but still really good. Pasta dish was great. Good beer selection. Our server, Elizabeth, did a great job of making sure everything was just right.

We wanted to visit the cowboy cafe opposite this place but it was sadly closed. We visited on Thursday evening and waited maybe 5-10 minutes for a table, really good service and the food was fantastic.

We had the vegetable linguine with garlic bread (probably not vegan as pasta is freshly made but I really enjoyed it, if you’re plant-based rather than 100% vegan then I highly recommend this), Diablo burger (beef with jalapeño), hoagie bun with buffalo and horseradish sauce, and fried okra with ranch. Burgers can be made meat-free with a portobello mushroom. All food was excellent, we were very happy. We had a table with a gorgeous view as well. Highly recommend!

The most amazing dinner and dessert. Between the fresh honey butter and fresh rolls, to the fresh potatoes and amazing gravy, to an out of this world cherry cobbler.
This will be my first stop next time in Dubois!

Kid-friendliness: The kid's menu was fantastic and reasonably priced

Let me first say to make sure you get here as soon as they open otherwise, you may find yourself waiting... And rightly so. This is an amazing restaurant with amazing food and an amazing staff.
While the menu specifies that all of the pasta is made fresh there in the restaurant daily, it does not tell you that they make and cook it perfectly! It is absolutely some of the best pasta I have had. The freshness and bite to it... The sauce was outstanding and even asked for an extra portion of Andouille sausage from the Cajun pasta to take with my leftovers. Portion sizes are large and well worth the cost.
Desert options for the day included Carrot Cake which we decided to get. This was probably in the top three cakes of this type we have ever had and my wife loves Carrot Cake, so we have tried a lot of them over the years.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location was beyond clean, with a country decor which includes lots of animal mounts... No worries with us, but if that offends you, well, you will be missing out on some of the best food in the area...
All I can say is, highly highly recommended and THANK YOU to our server and chef! We will be visiting again if we are ever in the area.

Great food but the wait time was over 2.5 hours for our food after we were given a 30 minute estimate.

This place gets a "woah" out of 10. Everything from scratch, incredible service, and homey atmosphere. The cajun pasta was of the best pasta I've ever had. This is a gem that is hidden in plain sight right in the heart of Dubois. Take the time to stop here, it will be ABSOLUTELY worth it. Astounding from beginning to end.

BEST BURGER EVER. I am a self-labeled burger snob. While I love to sample burgers from all-over, very few make an impact. This, however, could be the very best burger I have EVER had. Not only was it cooked to perfection, but it was seasoned well and made from fresh ingredients (I would not be surprised if the cow was alive earlier that day). My 10-year old son and I appreciated their detail to service, the prices were reasonable, and the decor was perfect. We were able to get a table for two with not wait.
