Let me tell you… if you want true Wyoming hospitality, this is the place for you. Not only is the establishment clean and welcoming, not only is the food absolutely amazing, not only is the service friendly and prompt, but the humanity of this staff is out of this world. We are from Louisiana and my husband left his wallet behind on a Saturday evening. We were staying in Jackson and happen to fly out on a Monday. This restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. When we realized what happened, I messaged the restaurant on here to explain our situation and they immediately responded with a number to contact to make arrangements to get the wallet back. My mind is blown how amazing Lone Buffalo is in all aspects. I want to thank you all for an amazing experience and for also being so kind in a situation that was completely our fault. God Bless.
Amazing food and service 💖💯🥩
Great place. Tried buffalo. Very delicious. Would recommend to anyone.
FANTASTIC 🙌🏼👌🏼 maybe our fave meal while in Wyoming. Definitely felt like we were dining with the locals. We started with the brussels (holy cow, so good…our kids loved them too) and ended with the ribeye. We also ordered the Wyoming Mule and the old fashioned which were both super affordable and delicious! We had very attentive service. 10/10! If you’re in the area definitely drop by! It was such a great meal!
The pork tamales with black beans salsa. The 307 burger home made fries. Was outstanding.
As a baker my whole life the carrot cake was better than I make. Real big shedder carrots and coconut very moist. The drinks from the bar margaritas was also delicious 🤤
Just visiting the town. Lots of great restaurants for a small town 👍👍👍👍👍
The food hasn’t missed yet! The steak is cooked perfectly and has just the right amount of salt. Service has always been friendly and attentive even in large group settings. Cocktails are yum. A must if you’re scouting dinner in Dubois.
Very good food, service, atmosphere. You get what you pay for. We will be back one more time before we leave the area.
Best dinner I've been served there. Perfect steaks, beautiful salad, asparagus slightly under, beautiful dinner rolls and perfect attention and service and really great birthday dessert 🍰.
Lovely food, friendly service, great atmosphere.
Very attentive staff. Never wanted for anything. They were on top of their game for sure.
Wheelchair accessibility: They made it easy to get in and moved chairs so hubby could get in with his wheel chair and all.

I decided to visit this local steak house while doing a layover in Dubois, and I must say this is a must stop spot. I ordered the 307 burger and sadly I got the wrong one. When I got back to my truck to eat it I noticed it was just a regular cheese burger with the fixings and not the one I ordered. Usually I’d go back and have it fixed but it was already a long walk there and back I didn’t want to do again so I decided to just eat it as is. I must say that was probably the best burger I’ve ever had even as a simple cheeseburger! It was Smokey and had such a strong but smooth taste with such tender meat! I definitely will be stopping here again next time I’m in town and hope to get the right burger next time or another one of the delicious items on the menu! :)

We had dinner here on
9/12/24. The food was very good. The bison medallions were maybe just a little under seasoned for my taste, but still really good. Pasta dish was great. Good beer selection. Our server, Elizabeth, did a great job of making sure everything was just right.

We wanted to visit the cowboy cafe opposite this place but it was sadly closed. We visited on Thursday evening and waited maybe 5-10 minutes for a table, really good service and the food was fantastic.
We had the vegetable linguine with garlic bread (probably not vegan as pasta is freshly made but I really enjoyed it, if you’re plant-based rather than 100% vegan then I highly recommend this), Diablo burger (beef with jalapeño), hoagie bun with buffalo and horseradish sauce, and fried okra with ranch. Burgers can be made meat-free with a portobello mushroom. All food was excellent, we were very happy. We had a table with a gorgeous view as well. Highly recommend!
