We are in Evanston about once a month. The Pie Hole was recommended by an equally excellent place right across the street, the Suds Bros Brewery. I contacted owner lisa andasked for a suggestion, and she said Sour Cream Lemon was a family fave. So we got one, and that has to be the BEST pie I've ever had. And I'm not a huge lemon guy. Beautifully decorated, and just unreal....
a MUST if you're ever in Evanston.

What a cute place! We had the banana cream pie (homemade and real whipped cream). The French dip and Reuben sandwiches were wonderful. Real butter used to toast the bread. High quality meat. True quality good. The people are warm and friendly. My new favorite spot to visit in Evanston. (Came from Salt Lake City for a drive 😉)

Just happened to come across this wonderful little bake shop while traveling. We tried a slice of German chocolate pie which was heaven. We purchased a peach pie and coconut cream pie to go. Both were delicious especially the peach warmed up with vanilla ice cream. Simply scrumptious. Worth the trip from anywhere.
