Food was mediocre. Chicken Santa Fe was supposed to be on jalapeño cheese bread. Got sourdough. The naker is obviously not weighing the water. The buns were dry, tops cracked. Meat was heaped in the middle rather than spead out eavenly. I owned/operated GJCO Schlotzskys for 18 years, so it was a disappointment to get something less than standard.
Bagged lunches at Hat Six are available from Schlotzskys - decent amount of meat on my Italian, but bread was dry and fell apart. Meat itself seemed to just be cheap ham and salami, noting really else on the sandwich. Can't speak to the service or atmosphere as it was just a bagged lunch from the cooler.
I live in central indiana. We used to have Schlotsky’s here but they closed up shop and moved out, much to my disappointment. Anytime I travel to locations with a store, I absolutely drop by and get the cheese original, just as I used to get while living in Texas, 40+ years ago.
Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian, and just simply ask for the cheese original as I used to get years ago.
