Great experience. We sat towards the back for less noise and it was great . Food was great we really loved the huge cheesecake ! Our server was very very good . Steak was perfect . Not crowded but we had reservations . The Bison burger was perfect .

On my most recent visit to High Plains Steakhouse I discovered there had been slight changes to the menu. Thinking it was just a new menu design I ordered my regular dinner( small filet with salad). My dining companion also ordered the steak and salad with the exception they wanted a caesar salad. When the salad was delivered to the table it came with Caesar on the side of a regular salad,NOT your traditional Caesar salad. When we inquired with our waitress she told us that that would be a $7 up charge for a traditional Caesar salad. When the stakes arrived they were much smaller than usual (about the size of a silver or less ) there were no sides on the plate. I had noticed during ordering that there was a slight pricing increase. At this time we took the opportunity to speak to our server and she directed the manager on duty over to my table. At that time we informed that the steakhouse was under new Management and all sides had gone "Vegas Style" $7 for each. She was very apologetic about the changes and comped us some garlic mashed potatoes. So in conclusion what used to cost you $35 for a petite tenderloin Caesar salad and mashed potatoes now costs $42 or more for Less steak. I must reiterate the staff was amazing!

I've eaten at High Plains Steakhouse and will likely return! 1st time had a lunch burger, 2nd a pasta dish, and 3rd the Thanksgiving Day turkey special, and all three were good and reasonably priced. Never had any issues with the service or staff.

Brittany our waitress was helpful friendly and kind. The Thanksgiving meal deal was awesome . Turkey both potatoes stuffing gravy green bean casserole and roll. With a choice of 2 pies. It was all prepared masterfully. We will be back next year.

First time at this restaurant. Absolutely excellent. Our porterhouse was outstanding. We have never eaten a steak so well marbled, seasoned and cooked. Service was top notch! The atmosphere was very pleasant and quiet enough we could easily visit. Ended an amazing meal with scrumptious house made blueberry bread pudding and cheesecake covered in raspberry sauce. This is our new favorite steakhouse and definitely be returning.

I was a little surprised as i expected a steakhouse but it is in a corner of a casino. Was more like tables at a snack bar. However, the food was better than expected and enjoyable. I had bison hanger steak and it was great. Others had the Wagyu Hamburgers and they were big and were a good, not great, burger. Overall, appearances can be deceiving and we had an enjoyable dinner.

Food was great, as was service. Very little wait time. Surprise to us was that it is in a busy casino, which resulted in a lot of noise. We'd go back, however.
The meal was fair not outstanding, Coleshaw was undesirable to taste. Ribs need to scored through cartilage area to made it more convenient for the customer. Service was adequate did good job, the rest of the meal was standard to fair nothing outstanding.

Wonderful experience. Great food and service. Not a fancy traditional steakhouse. Very casual and very open to the casino floor. Jeans n tshirts environment. Very small casino with only slots and a stage behind the bar for music. Great for a quick passing by experience.

Food was great, server was very attentive, good place to eat. I had the filet which was cooked perfectly as I asked, the potatoes were also amazing. My husband had the salmon which he loved. The funny thing was, he helped me eat my 10z filet when he was done, and said my filet was better than his salmon->when he had just gotten done saying how great his salmon was! And he loves salmon. The spinach and artichoke dip was great also.

We had the prime rib special. Everything was amazing and very delicious. Our server was Paizleigh and she did an outstanding job from start to finish.

Had lunch there. Ordered the prime rib steak salad and a mushroom & blue cheese smash burger. Salad came with what looked like thinly sliced piece of beef (about a quart of an inch thick) like you would slice up and maybe put on a French dip. It was quite dried out. The smash burger was tasty, but also dry. There were only a couple mushrooms that were not sliced and sautéed, but cut in to a few large chunks that were not cooked completely like they should have been. Fries with burger were fine, could have been crispier. Servers and staff were very friendly and efficient. Never had to ask for refills on our iced teas and they offered us ice teas to go if we wanted. Probably wouldn't return.
