This place is great, I work in town often and am kicking myself that I just found this place. Order a burrito if you're hungry, left uncomfortably full. Will absolutely come back. Great flavors and great Mexican fare. Draft pints in frosted mugs are awesome.

Hi hum in terms of quality. I think they have improved since the last time I was there and had to move booths because of ants coming from the wall. Food is bland and basic.

Delicious! I had the Colorado burrito. It was exactly what I needed after a long hike around Devils Tower. Will definitely go back before I leave Gillette.

Why is everything soupy? Everything was coated in a sauce. The fajitas, the tacos, even the tamales. The refried beans were thin and liquidy and the salsa tasted almost like they used canned tomatoes? Overall a strange departure from any Mexican food I've had before. Not terrible, but not super flavorful and no spice to be found anywhere. Odd. And at $65 for two people, not worth the cost.

I am giving this local-to-me restaurant a 3 star review because, while the food is good, it seems to be risky to pay with a credit card. We had a meal on 2/15/23 that cost $28.32.I added a $5.00 tip (just a little over 18%) for a total of $33.32. But when they submitted the charge to the credit card company, they added another $3.00 and charged $36.32. I have notified my CC company of the fraud. When I noted this in a local Facebook group, we discovered several folks reported having similar experiences. So if you eat here, my advice is to only use cash.

Excellent service. We were seated and given delicious chips and salsa immediately. Ordered a pork smothered burrito which was on a large plate and extremely delicious. Also got the chicken enchiladas smothered in red sauce. They too were extremely yummy.

Great Mexican restaurant here! All 11 plates we ordered on the last visit were very good. Not 1 complaint out of 11 of us is pretty amazing.

The food is good. The atmosphere is good. The drawback is the service. The wait staff doesn't write down orders, so more often than not, the food has to get sent back to prepare the order properly.Another issue I have is that I am that person who wants my change back, and I want to decide the tip to give. If you like to balance your checkbook and you pay with a credit or debit card, there are two waitresses that will ADD another $1.00 or $2.00 in addition to what tob what you've already given for a tip. They wait until you leave and add that money. If you pay cash and like to collect your change in a jar, this place won't give you your coin change back to you. They automatically keep it.Depends on if you care about your server giving your change back and adding another buck or two to your bill on how you feel about this issue. Some people don't care, some do. The food is good. This IS a great place for family birthday party celebrations. They give a delicious free dessert and sing Happy Birthday, which is fun.Parking: Parking can be a challenge at times.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, slings, and kid menusWheelchair accessibility: By the front door.

Each of our plates could've easily been shared. Large portion. Everything was delicious. My husband ordered the El Pastor, not the best pic but I'll post it. Fun and impressive way or serving it.

Food:Food here is great. Used to be my favorite Mexican place in town.Price:The price is double that of Los Compadres for the same exact meal. Which is weird since it's my understanding that the owners are related, which is the reason for the extreme similarities between the two menus. It's strange that the price is so drastically different. When ordering take out, I was informed that the Burrito Mexico with steak was $24. The addition of the steak was apparently an additional $8.In my opinion, this seems like an attempt to take advantage of the customer. It's also my opinion that this restaurant is a rip off compared to the competition.
