Food was outstanding, good portions, salsa was amazing. Service was excellent. I would recommend this “authentic” Mexican restaurant above Tucson, EL Paso, raton pass and even (especially) Chicago. Truly delightful, and I was born and raised in EL Paso.

Friday evening and the place was packed. However, we got seated fairly quickly. The service was great and the food was fantastic. If we are ever in that part of the US again we will definitely go again.
food here didn't teast like Mexican food we get in Phoenix.

Dont be troubled by the modest exterior. The insides are bright and cheerful with everything decorated in Mexican style. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. We drove by several restaurants in Gillette on a Thursday night and they were empty, but Los Compadres parking lot was full. Big portions, very hot and delicious for a fair price. The place is small, but the food is big.
