Do not go for the salad bar. We came in for “the best salad bar in Gillette “. Their “large” one trip is a ridiculously small plate, which doesn’t allow room for a piece of lettuce, and the selection, while good and fresh, isn’t much. I’m sure their BBQ is great, but the salad bar is weak at best. Very disappointing.

I ordered the fish basket with hush puppies and coleslaw, along with a half-pound of Polish kielbasa sausage. Unfortunately, the fish had no flavor, was very bland, and the portion was extremely small. I was also surprised to find that the fish came as little bitty nuggets — had I known that, I would have chosen something more filling. The hush puppies we're cold and the very center was a Touch under cooked. The Polish kielbasa was good and is the only thing keeping this from being a one-star review. On a positive note, the waitress who took my order was very polite and helpful. This whole meal cost $22. Not worth it for Slaw & Sausage.

Maybe the BEST restaurant in town. Certainly the BEST BBQ in town! So much in their menu is So Good! I did have an issue once where the food took 45mins, but hopefully it hasn't happened since. Cowboy/ranch/southern style. Great service.
Came from Colorado. Excited for the “best bbq smokehouse” place in Gillette. Came around 1pm on Tuesday. Less than 7 people in there. Menu says market price, which sounds bullshit. No indication of how much meat in menu. At least say it is 1 pound or anything. Coleslaw is awful, Raising Canes has better coleslaw. Wings are like cardboard. Pulled chicken …. More like pulled paper. Dry as hell. Look at the picture. Brisket, not even tender and hot. It is cold. I don’t understand why people like this place so much. Is it the vibe? Or the food? I don’t think its the food. I wish I never come here and spend my money to eat cardboards and papers. Disappointing.

Food was incredible, we ordered the bbq sampler for two. The bbq sauce was especially delicious. Our waitress was very kind and we could tell they were an hard worker with they way they quickly walked with purpose and expertly held the drinks and plates.
We are Australians traveling through so it's unlikely we would be returning but we would be highly recommending this place to our friends on their travels.

Quick stop after Mt. Rushmore on the way to Buffalo (WY) with family. Ordered the BBQ platter for two, Buffalo burger and Chicken sandwich. Had the salad bar too (worth it more so that side salad). Good food, not great. Ribs and brisket very good. Turkey dry. Buffalo burger was awesome, though don’t get too much in it. The staff was the best part: sharp, efficient young ladies. Em was our server and was great. Bartender was awesome too. Enjoy!
