Sat close to the bar. Sales bar was good. Food for that type of place was not good. Ribs were hard, brisket and chicken dry. We have a place here that makes same type of food. No comparisons between the two. We bought a 80 something platter of food for 4 to 6 people. Not worth it. A group of people in their 20s were at the bar and must have known the staff. They were having a good time with them. Should have been working instead.
This place is a hoot! We were just passing through (from Washington State to Maryland) and pulled in for lunch. We sampled the catfish and hush puppies (the special that day), and the brisket, along with house-made chips and peach cobbler. We love BBQ so we really weren't tempted by the exotic choices, but if you are... they have python, kangaroo, and ostrich, none of which I've seen on a menu before. LOL

If you go here to eat make sure you are completely on empty before you start eating. I took some friends and I was absolutely full before the food was even gone. Just wish the beef rib wasn't $51, lot of bone and not as much meat as I would have expected.
