The Prime Rib Restaurant & Wine Cellar

Stopped in Wyoming as our halfway point to Fargo from Utah and found the best spot for a beautiful, romantic dinner — **The Prime Rib Restaurant & Wine Cellar**. We were seated in a quiet little nook, which was absolutely perfect. We ordered the prime rib and couldn’t get over how delicious it was — perfectly cooked and honestly unlike any prime rib we’ve ever tasted. Our server, **Haley**, was wonderful and so attentive. And the price? Incredible for such a great meal. If you’re ever in Gillette, you *have* to stop at The Prime Rib Restaurant & Wine Cellar. You won’t be disappointed!

We read the reviews and were eager to try it. The food quality was poor the butter was like styrofoam the steak was way undercooked. The salad was old and wilted. The bread was dry and honestly the atmosphere was not great. Dirty carpet and dark dirty walls.

Excellent fine-dining experience with top-tier food and service. The steaks are cooked perfectly, sides are flavorful, and the presentation is elegant without feeling pretentious. The wine list is extensive and thoughtfully curated, with knowledgeable staff who can recommend great pairings. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, ideal for a date night or special occasion. Service is attentive and professional from start to finish, and the entire experience feels polished and well-run. Easily one of the best dining options in the area for quality, consistency, and overall experience.

When we arrived, our name was on a booth, specifically saved for us at our request. Sam was very helpful in taking down the information for a future booking. The steak was perfectly cooked and exceptionally seasoned. Every other course was delightful. 

Restaurant was fabulous. Very impressed, we loved everything!

San and his staff take excellent care of the customers. Robin is always outstanding. The food is consistently great!

Time for an update. Old and dingy. Last visit there wait staff was not on top of things.

I was disappointed after reading about their awards for having such great wines. The only Chardonnay they offer by the glass is Kendall Jackson ( or yellow tail). I can get that at Ruby Tuesday!! We got the stuffed mushrooms. There was so much cheese melted on top, you couldn't even see any mushrooms. We're from Wisconsin and love cheese, but we wanted the crab stuffed mushrooms, not a ton of melted cheese.

The Prime Rib bar in Gillette is in the running for my favorite restaurant in all of Wyoming. Food has always been good, service has always been good & friendly & prices reasonable. Pleasant ambiance. Recommend enthusiastically.

Good quality, nice environment. Had the chicken breast with crab -delicious with huge baked potatoe and asparagus. My partner had a large salad with chicken.

This is my first dinner in Gillette, Wyoming — enjoyed a great sirloin steak.
