Leaving South Dakota, we happened upon a little town by the name of Gillette in Wyoming. Not much was here except for a busy drive-thru at a Taco outlet. Its name was Taco John’s (shout out to Olivia!).

This time, I got something different from my parents. My choice was a Super Burrito. It had black beans, cheese (probably Tex-Mex), savoury red rice, chicken, tomatoes, sour cream, and of course Mexican seasoning. My dessert was Mexican Donut Bites. These were bite-sized pieces shaped like little pillows that were covered in cinnamon sugar. Icing was layered among the handful of pieces.

My parents chose four soft tacos. On these, there were ground beef, cheese (probably Tex-Mex), lettuce, and taco seasoning. I took a bite of one. It tasted like a regular homemade taco.

The cost of the food was $33 USD.

At Taco John’s, Mexican flavours were on point. They served us some of that Mexican goodness we know and love.

I'm not one to write reviews, but holy moly.. My food was so low effort. I waited like 5 min thinking they were making it fresh and I ordered a couple burritos. Two of them were tiny as can be (like 3 bites and it's gone), and my other bean burrito had a super dry tortilla and little to no filling in it, it was barely edible and tasted so bad. I used to come here and they did a good job. Pretty disappointed.

The employees are only there for a paycheck. I've gone through the drive through and dinged in. Horrible service. They will get your order wrong or it's thrown together. My taco pizza had 4" of crust. All of the ingredients was pulled in the middle. If you complain about your food the employees are rude and unhelpful. Go to the one on boxelder. Better service and good food.

Guy at the drive-thru was beyond rude from the moment we pulled up to order. Seemed super sketchy and looked to be doing something weird to my drink. We had already paid but decided to just leave without the food and drinks. Not even worth the hassle or risk some bizarre confrontation for a refund. I guess there's a reason we didn't see any other diners inside or outside the establishment.

Love this place the potato oles are the best. Food is definitely fast food but as far as that goes it's pretty darn good. Service can get slow at times of rush but don't worry they are trying the only reason I rate the atmosphere so love is cuz this place is small I advise drive thru if you can if not park by the old village inn as the parking lot is smaller than the restaurant. But it is a great place, good food and fast service thanks for the stuff, grilled tacos there the best!

Not bad, I believe there was only one person working so service was slow and the food was not very hot, warm at best. The person who took my order was very pleasant!

First I asked for a water cup and they told me I couldn't just get water...because homeless people get soda when they order water....Then I got my super burrito with onions and beans in a small portion...when I expressed my unhappiness with the amount of meat I received which was a baby spoon sized amount in the front of my burrito they proceeded to tell me that's how they come with a bean and meat mix but she could add more lettuce if I wanted....I am.not a complainer but isn't the customer always right? 1st of all I am not homeless and work very hard foe a living and to be told I have to pay 3$ for water then given a burrito with nothing in it is quite disappointing...The cashier was nice but that doesn't help when the food is next to nothing...I didn't order a bean burrito I ordered a SUPER BURRITO! COME ON Taco JohnsAlso watched the guy making the taco wipe his nose on his glove...yikes

The short fat woman with miles was absolutely the rudest person.

They said they'd bring my food out to my table but instead they left it on the counter exposed to numerous other customers and an employee who was coughing excessively. I left without having any food.
