The Local – Cozy, Clean, and Delicious!

Stopped by for breakfast and was very impressed. I ordered a turkey breakfast burrito with a spinach wrap and a caramel latte — both were excellent! The burrito was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly wrapped, and the latte was smooth and just the right level of sweet.

The staff were friendly, fast, and professional, and the whole place had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The décor is stylish yet comfortable — soft leather seating, warm lighting, and a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for hanging out or working quietly. Everything looked clean and well-kept, which really added to the experience.

Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommended!

Ordered the turkey pesto and asked for it to be made on sourdough and with bean sprouts. What I received were two sandwiches with panini bread and no bean sprouts. Upon driving back to the local to ask if they could fix my order, I was rudely told that they couldn’t give me sourdough because they “only do paninis” and rather than fixing the order politely themselves, as most places do, they gave me a cup of sprouts and told me to add it on myself. If you couldn’t do sourdough, you should have said that when the order was placed and not waited until I had to drive all the way back to ask about it. I used to eat the turkey pesto sandwich all the time from this place, I ordered it for years, and I ALWAYS ordered it on sourdough and it always used to automatically have bean sprouts. Today is the second time in two weeks that this sandwich has not been made with bean sprouts as it used to be. I don’t know if their menu has changed or something, but due to the extremely unprofessional customer service, we won’t be returning here again.

Not a fan. I was excited for a healthy lunch and to try a new spot. Walked in, the girls ignored me, I looked at the menu at the counter and when I asked if I could order food, they just replied “kitchens closed”. I said “ok thanks, and left”. Awkward and uncomfortable.

I’ve given The Local so many chances. First of all, HUGE thank you to Kylie for such a sweet offer to buy her customers coffee from The Local. I’ll always return to her trailer. However, The Local has further solidified why I will no longer support their business. Yesterday, I told the person taking my order that it was “On Kylie”, thanks to her sweet offer, and not only did I get an over-exaggerated sigh and a look that made me feel like I had totally inconvenienced the worker, but then I received an unnecessary eye roll from the employee that handed the person taking my order, what I assume was, the Kylie gift card. And I went when it was mostly dead inside. They weren’t overly busy at all, so no excuse of being “slammed”. I’ve worked customer service MANY years, so I am always kind to workers in any business I enter, because I know how it feels. I also never tip less than 25%. But, man. There is such an air of “mean girl energy” in this coffee shop and it drives me crazy. It costs zero dollars to be friendly, especially when someone is supporting your establishment, and when, you know, customer service is your job.

Everyone is so kind! I run a business and wanted to include the Local in my giveaway and they were so amazing. Charity especially was so sweet and helpful! The communication and customer service was absolutely outstanding from her! When i stopped in to grab the gift card I also treated myself. all the staff was so nice! And everything I got was super tasty! Definitely will be back!!!
