Wanted to try something new for breakfast with the fam that was a bad decision. Food was sub-par nobody was to happy out of the fam. Service was horrible did not get to see a server after we ate had to walk up to someone to try and get refills none came. Did not bring any left over food home cause some of the fam was not feeling to well. SHOULD OF WENT TO PERKINS!!!!

This place is horrible our waiter keep touching his hair and face and never washed his hands. Our food came out cold so we ended up leaving . I don't even want to give it a star. Horrible

We stopped here last minute, and I was a great decision! This is the best food I've eaten on our road trip so far! We all did the VIB. It's a pick four. Egg/meat, grain, potato, and griddle (all for $10). I got an egg and cheese omelet, French toast, biscuit with gravy, and cheesy hashbrowns. Wow. So good! I couldn't finish it all!

Recently updated seating and tables. We ordered and waited. And waited. No update on order yet server was very nice. When food arrived it was what we hoped for and a little extra. They are obviously short staffed. But we say, worth the wait in this area.

We had to wait 40 minutes for our food. My order was wrong and my wife's order was completely wrong. All her food had a wierd taste almost chemical taste. So to make us happy they took a whole 4 dollars off our ticket. We will never return and I will make sure to tell everyone what a horrible place to eat at.

Server was doing his best, but the manager did a poor job of scheduling, so they were way understaffed. Food was cooked wrong and the toast never made it to our table. I felt bad for the server, but we won't go back until they have a new manager.

Village Inn was good. I had a Belgian Waffle with whip cream and coffee. The restaurant was clean as well as the bathrooms. And, the table and chairs were clean and they had activities, coloring and learning questions for children along with crayons.

Came in before 10 am this morning. About 10 minutes later ordered our food. Took over 1/2 hour to get drinks refilled...then didnt get food until almost 11:15....and no apology or explaination...

Be prepared to be here a while. The kitchen is a disaster and seems to only cook one order at a time. Manager berates employees in front of customers. Took and hour and a half to get our breakfast today. Ordered a late breakfast before we got on the road, and ended up eating it for lunch. My wife took our kids to use the bathroom and said the floor was as sticky as a movie theater showing kids cartoons and free soda. While we waited, we watched several tables walk out. I wish we would have. If your reading this review to see if you should eat here, don't. Just keep driving to anywhere else.

Its a shame this one the only places to serve breakfast in Gillette! Village Inn should have just kept its doors closed. HORRIBLE! DIRTY! DISGUSTING! POOR MANAGEMENT! Shame, shame on the manager for threatening to call police because customer refused to pay for food sent back!
