Best burger I’ve ever had! We were passing through off season and this was the only place open. Thank goodness!! The bartender and cook were just delightful! Get the burger. You won’t be disappointed!

I was just a passer through checking out devils tower and it had gotten late and Ponderosa Cafe was the only one open. From the first bite I was blown away with the brilliant flavors that came from the soup to the steak everything feels like it was prepared with care and love dont be hesitant this is the spot!!!

Ordered the ribs and a burger. Ribs were cold in the center, corn on the cob was cold in the center, coleslaw was warmer than the ribs, burger was ordered medium well and came bright red leaking blood. Will not be stopping again. The cook was extremely loud and complaining about having to work.The server was pleasant, the only positive to our dining experience.

I would assume the food and service are very good usually based on the reviews and recommendations from family, but during the Sturgis rally they served us a boxed meal and a bag of lays with a bottled beverage and still charged normal prices, and I get it’s very busy during sturgis but our waiter was very short with us and their attitude was really unacceptable. DO NOT COME DURING STURGIS RALLY!!
