The orange chicken kinda lacked a lil flavor. The fried rice wasn't completely fried. Lots of white rice in it.

Food tastes great, especially after eating western food and instant noodles for a few days in the national parks. They have a board at the entrance listing the most ordered dishes in the restaurant. We made our selection from that list and did not regret our choice. Don't expect the food to be on par with what you get in China, or a good Chinese restaurant in metropolitan US cities. But being the only Chinese restaurant in Jackson, it is totally beyond my expectation.

This is our 2nd time having lunch here, both times we had a great meal. Today we had the sizzling elk and shredded cabbage, very flavorful and tasty. Very welcoming and attentive. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, highly recommended!

We ordered takeout twice here: Yellowstone trout and Sichuan boiled fish. They were delicious and authentic Chinese dishes. The service was also very nice!

If you wanna have transitional Chinese food in the area, definitely try out China Fun! The Chinese name 鹿角 means ‘Deer Horn’ which is more beautiful than English name. We ordered 3 popular entrees: steamed fish, hotpot beef and stir fried cabbages - all are tasty(could be less salty)

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food did not taste fresh, and the dishes were poorly prepared with little flavor. The service was slow and inattentive, which only made the visit more frustrating. On top of that, the environment did not feel clean or well-kept, which made the overall dining experience uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place

We had dinner today here because my last visit here is good. However, this time it is really bad! The waiter does not know Chinese food. We ordered 蚝油芥蓝,he said they only have 西芥蓝。what they served is 西兰花!!! and the waiter says well different people has different definition of 西芥蓝。we have to smile back! more than that, when we order 辣油毛肚,when they serve, the waiter says 夫妻肺片, that is confusing and different taste!

The food was not freshly made, taste just like reheated food, there is literally no service to talk about, worst part is that they expected us to pay before they would serve us food

We were advised to order authentic Chinese dishes from their special menu, which was about 60% more expensive than the regular menu. We wanted to order the Chinese special stir-fried beef but were told that only pork was available. The Chinese special stir-fried pork turned out to be just a dish of very fatty pork slices with jalapeño. The other dish we ordered was the seafood casserole. Unfortunately, the shrimps were not fresh — the texture was like mud — and hadn’t been properly cleaned.
The dinner was just a disaster!

On our way back to Idaho from Yellowstone July 15, we swung south through Jackson. We arrived there right around noon on a Tuesday, the entire downtown area was a total zoo. Drove around for a half hour looking for a single space to park with no luck. We were hoping to lunch at a downtown spot.
So we gave up and started heading out of town. Found this place on Google maps and with some road construction/closure it might be slightly difficult to get in for a week or so? But we found a parking spot right near the front. It’s a little “hole in the wall” place, a little dated and not the cleanest place we have ever been in, but the food is excellent.
They seem to have a bunch of different Chinese dishes in addition to the usual ones, I presume they are “more authentic“. Being a typical American, we got the combination dishes, which I assume take the place of the usual “lunch specials”. I’m sure the menu is the same for lunch and dinner. They seemed a little pricey at $19.95 each, but we figured it’s sort of a touristy town and that was not outrageous.
I put the $20-$30 per person range since with tax it came to just over $20. We just had water. I didn’t even think about it until now, but hot tea was not offered nor drank. That would’ve gone well with the meal actually.
Turns out it’s a very large amount of food for the money, we each took home more than half leftovers, I just devoured mine for a large lunch.
I got the triple special: chicken, beef, and shrimp. They come with choice of fried or white rice, three types of soup, and a spring roll or crab Rangoon? Maybe a couple other options?
The hot and sour soup was delicious, had a nice amount of kick to it and lots of good stuff in it.
The fried rice and spring roll were only average, but still tasty.
The main course was absolutely delicious. Large amounts of beef, chicken and about eight shrimp. Just the right amount of vegetables, not too much broccoli, and the other vegetables, all were cooked perfectly to my taste anyway. The sauce was excellent and a good amount.
They didn’t overload it with excess vegetables (especially onions) as some places do.
My wife got the orange chicken combo, with white rice and wonton soup, and was just as impressed.
They have a dozen or more selections for the combos, in addition to single dishes of every other thing that Chinese restaurants usually have. Based on what we got, I would think any of it would be excellent.
Highly recommended if you can handle slightly less than pristine/spotless accommodations. Nothing that offended my sensibilities. Great service and friendly staff.
