There was only one person working, so the service was a bit slow. The menu was pretty basic with limited options—about 8–10 flavors, and three were out. If you’re looking for a standard ice cream shop, this works fine. But if you’re hoping for more unique and expansive flavors, I’d recommend going somewhere else.

Cream and sugar is a local Jackson ice cream shop. They seem to have a focus on high-quality ingredients. I got the Persephone s’mores ice cream. It had a chocolate base and homemade graham crackers from the Persephone bakery. Definitely worth stopping at.

I have never written a review before this is the first time I had to this is by far the worst place I have ever gone. The service was terrible they had teens with no supervision an did not seem to have any concept of a hairnet or hat and mixed different flavors together and the place was very unsanitary he also basically neglected us when it was time to pay so we sat inside for almost 10 minutes as he was distracted by other teenagers finally a girl came over and helped us but overall worst experience the ice cream want want much better get some employees that can actually do their job and get a manager that can actually manage their workers and clean the place up. Would not recommend going here. I’m sorry I realize I should not have specifically named someone I apologize

The workers were nice and the shop was open late but the ice cream was not good at all. Not often do I decide ice cream “isn’t worth the calories” but both my partner and I ended up throwing ours away. The name of the ice cream I picked led me to believe it was chocolate (cocoa swirl or something) but it was pecan (like a very grandma flavor). My partner got huckleberry and it had these giant, icy clumps of berries without ice cream. Wasn’t impressed with any of the other flavor choices, either.

Not a great service experience. Their payment machine went down with 10 of us in line. The kids working weren’t trained on what to do—barely gave us any information and kept us waiting until we realized what the problem was on our own. Won’t be back. Gotta have better training and back up system—even cash wasn’t possible. And no offers to make it up to us.
