Yes it is a sports bar, but it just gets obnoxiously loud with all the talking not really the sports or the TV or the music. All the servers in the bartenders are fantastic and they take the time to talk to you and know your name and if you're a local get to know what you like. They're all really good about that. The manager is pretty cool and talkative. Overall very enjoyable place to visit over and over.
Cutty's was an absolutely awesome experience and I can't recommend it enough. The sports memorabilia is immense and you can tell the owner cares. The waiters were kind and very helpful throughout. And of course, the food was also incredible. I had a Nor'Easter cheesesteak and cheese bacon fries. We had a really mixed experience here. Our waitress (a younger blonde) gave us absolutely horrible service—she took our order and never came back to check on us. When we needed her, she ignored us, and we actually had to hold our check out in front of her to get her attention. We also noticed she was giving far more attention to tables that were ordering alcohol, which made the poor service stand out even more. Thankfully, other staff stepped in and helped by bringing drinks.
