Two words-Apple pie!! The BEST I have ever eaten. The dessert are made in house daily. The meat selection was awesome and cooked to perfection.

I visited the amazin restaurant several years ago. And still tell people about my experience here. I had the best steak that I had ever eaten here. It was cooked perfect and the service was great. If I ever get back to Jackson Hole I will certainly come back to the Gun Barrel Steakhouse.

We dined here twice. First night , excellent food and service. Maria was excellent. If you are unfortunate enough to have Kristen, expect disinterested, lackluster service with your food arriving cold. She was no where to be found as ribeye was cold and the toughest I have ever had in my life. So thoroughly disappointed after a great filet and terrific waitress the previous night. Good luck.

Very disappointing. Something has gone very awry here, it used to be really good! Buffalo prime rib has always been amazing, but it looked and tasted like a piece of fried baloney this time. Terrible taste and texture. Service was the worst! Server told us when ordering our drinks that we needed to order everything at once because she wasn't sure when she could come back to our table. Very poor management and quality - so sad!

I thought the food was great! My first time eating bison ribs and they were really juicy and flavorful.

This place is often rated as the best restaurant in Jackson, and the Western ranch-style atmosphere is definitely strong. Even though it was very busy, we only waited a few minutes for a table. We ordered two signature bison ribeye steaks — one medium rare (dry-aged) and one medium (regular cut). Strangely, the same steak was served as different types depending on doneness, and the fat ratio was quite high compared to a typical ribeye. Flavor-wise, it was fine but nothing particularly impressive.

The fermented bread served before the meal was excellent, and the service was very good. Overall, it’s a classic spot with great atmosphere, but also very noisy, as most diners were speaking quite loudly.
