Gun Barrel Steak and Game House

Second time here.. same as the first..excellent. Always want a meal here when in Jackson. Would eat here more but is very expensive. Love the atmosphere and the feel. Highly recommend.

Our first time at Gun Barrel and it was outstanding! Stellar service and absolutely delicious cuisine! The bison tenderloin was wonderful! The apple pie and huckleberry ice cream pie were delicious! Our server Jordan was not only beautiful but so attentive and informative! We truly enjoyed her! We will be back from SC this summer!

We had a very special dining experience at Gun Barrel. We had communicated ahead for a bit of isolated table in light of severely immunity compromised stage four “Grandpa” and they picked the perfect table for a memorable night. The food choices were varied and prepared excellently. Our server Katie was tops and was even assisted throughout the evening by her husband mark. Both are exceptional individuals. The ambiance also very cool and of keen interest especially to the grandkids. We were able to enjoy an evening going down ski trip memory lane while not giving up on future trips together. Thanks to the Gun Barrell.

Food was over cooked and under seasoned, the environment was nice and the server did a great job. But other than that, I would not recommend

I ordered a mesquite grilled salmon with green beans and had a Caesar salad as an appetizer. Both were excellent and prepared exactly as I wanted them. Could not have been happier. Both the salad and the salmon were of generous proportions. Highly recommend it to others

Great food and awesome waitress. Bison ribs were fantastic. Winter harvest salad was my favorite salad.

We got the filet and bolognese, both of which were fantastic! Our server was very attentive and we loved the Wyoming atmosphere in the restaurant.

Excellent choice for dinner in Jackson. Bison prime rib was great, sweet potato was great, garlic mash potatoes were "spot on", but rice/pecan "side" was bland (I wouldn't get that side again). Service was excellent ! We would definitely go again.

Im here on vacation and this is a must stop spot for anyone that loves good food and great steaks. Great, friendly service. water cups stayed full. loved the history and decor. will be back on my next ski vacation

Will never go again! Got there at 7p and was seated right away. Waitress recommended the Bison Prime Rib, which was the reason we came here. Asked for a minute to look at the drink menu, then she disappeared for over 20 minutes. When she finally returned to take our order, she said they just ran out of the Prime Rib. Ordered the Chicken Marsala instead. It was very dry and the edges were tough. Also, the rice was too undercooked to eat. It was so bad I only ate a couple bites. My husband had the Elk, and it was just OK. Definitely not worth the price. They still charged me 50% for the chicken even though it was so overcooked.

This is our absolute FAVORITE place to have dinner everytime we visit Jackson! The food is always top notch and service is fantastic. If you are in the mood for good game, this is the perfect place. Looking forward to our next visit!

This place has a good atmosphere- food wise, elk steak was great, cooked just right with good flavors; we also liked the Bison ribs, cooked perfectly with meat easily falling off from the bones, yet bbq sauce is a bit heavy - if you love bbq source, then you will love the Bison rib dish here, otherwise be aware:)

Here’s a picture of what $70+ looks like. The bison tenderloin was very well cooked and the 7 pieces of asparagus were cooked perfectly. The value is just not there. No bread, no side salad, nothing to actually justify the price of this meal. Go somewhere else, plenty of places that are better.
