Gun Barrel Steak and Game House

The food was cooked perfectly, especially the game meat. However, one of my party received their food 30 minutes after the rest of us. The waiter said that the cook wasn't satisfied with the steak. The only compensation we were offered for a totally ruined meal was bread. Disappointed! We have eaten here often and have had great experiences.

Our first time and we enjoyed it. Shout out to Bonnie for handling large tables and our little one for two. Great time!

Food is Good not great. Cool ambiance. We tried 5 different platters and all were pretty good. Nothing outstanding. Was expecting a little more for the money we spent.

The Gun Barrel is a great, classic Jackson hole restaurant. We go there every time we're in town for elk steaks, especially after backpacking trips. The ambience and decor are fun and classic western. Definitely a great place to get a game dinner or other steakhouse classic. 

The food was phenomenal and our waitress was outstanding. My husband and I tried the Bison Prime Rib and the Elk Tenderloin. Our first time having Bison and Elk and they did not dissapoint.

The elk loin and sweet potato was fantastic. Our waiter Mike was very attentive and gave us some local knowledge for our trip. This is a must eat place for folks who enjoy good food, especially wild game.

Atmosphere was very unique to the Jackson area and provided a very authentic experience. Portion of the steak flight was smaller than expected for high price, overall value was just okay. Service was also just okay and not at a level expected for the price.

Gun Barrel was DELICIOUS! The teriyaki chicken was perfect and bison prime rib top notch! Fried green tomatoes started the meal off right and Oreo ice cream pie ended even better. Our waiter was polite and personable, food came out in a timely manner, and it was a fun atmosphere!

The food was outstanding. Service was great. Highly recommend to all who visit Jackson Hole.

Great food .... Nice sitting outdoors overlooking golf course.... But it took almost 1.5 hours to get out food served.

I would've liked to give more stats, best restaurant I've been to in a long time. Only less than 5 star category was the test rooms, 3 to 4 stars, needed a little tidy. I would definitely return and also recommend.

As the name suggests, wonderful Western theme with heavy beef, bison, and elk on the menu. Filet was solid. Prime rib overdone.

The elk steak was the toughest piece of meat I have ever ate and the bison was not that good either

Food selection was spectacular. The Filet Flight was excellent. Enjoyed the meal, service and the apple pie was delicious. Food was cooked ti perfection. Medium rare is hard to find. Would definitely recommend. I would come back to dine again.

Service was very good, our waitress, Katie was great. She had lots of support so it wasn't just her serving . Clear as they have a system to keep things moving.
