Excellent. Our group of 8 had a variety of nigiri, sashimi and sushi rolls, everyone was very satisfied and happy with dinner.

Like everything else in Jackson Hole, it is pricier than back at home. But, worth the expense for the delicious preparations.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, and my expectations were absolutely exceeded.

The atmosphere is drop dead gorgeous, but at the same time accessible, as in you don’t need to be in a suit & tie to eat here.

My husband & I had the:

Waygu Gyoza 🥟 which I seriously could had 10 pieces myself because they were so delectable.

Then for our main dishes we ordered an assortment of sushi rolls, nigiri, and hand rolls. All the fish was fresh & perfectly cut. My favorites were the fatty tuna & huckleberry uni hand roll (sounds funky, but try it).

For the quality you’re getting, the prices are actually very reasonable. I will absolutely be back.

Delicious, fresh sushi. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our server recommended sushi rolls that we loved. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. We made reservations and were seated right away when we arrived.

One star off for simply this reason: the hostess, before even greeting us, let us know that we had to leave our table by 7:15. We were dining with an 8 year old at 5:45, we left at 6:35, it wasn’t the right welcome at a very nice establishment. Food was great (loved the HH food menu), service was prompt and we left happy. Very nice touch to comp our dessert for our celebration. I recommend this restaurant, but please always welcome your guests upon arrival.

We had an excellent experience at Kampai. We've just been back from a long trip in Europe and we're lamenting the US food quality until we went to Kampai. The food quality, flavor, excellent cocktails and service were like a balm to our souls.

My husband and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we're treated like royalty the entire time! Thank you for another stellar dining experience Kampai! Special shout-out to Jay and Tim! Thank you again!

Kampai is an amazing experience in Jackson Hole. Every detail is handled with care. The menu is delicious; the flavors unique and impressive. I always order the chefs special to try each type. Kampai has the very BEST sashimi and nigiri in the area; so fresh and light, very tasty. The service was friendly, well-timed, attentive and makes us feel like part of the family. Every time we visit, we feel like VIP. The ambience is outstanding with every tiny detail thought of; it is so calm, peaceful, beautiful, clean, relaxing and the best spot in town for a night out.

To me, this is the best restaurant in Jackson Hole period. The attention to detail and the quality of the food is top notch. They have the freshest fish in the entire town. People really like King Sushi - and their rolls are good - but not even close to the level of quality of Kampai! They also have the best fried chicken and sake selections. You cannot go wrong with anything at Kampai. The servers and sushi chefs are amazing. The hosts are welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect. My favorite all around restaurant!

Kampai is becoming our new favorite spot for dining out. The wagyu tataki is delightful. As is the sake aburi and soft shell crab. Going with the chef's choice of sashimi is the way to go!
