It is our favorite restaurant for years now: it is casual, it is absolutely delicious and sumptuous, and hands-down: a taste of Jackson we locals see disappearing. We always order the Imperial Shrimps for a starter, then venture out: the pressed Sake Roll - as good as it gets, warmed, enough fresh fish to taste each bite with pure satisfaction, the Dragon Roll, or the Jackson Roll, or any other one - nothing can get wrong! The fried cheesecake is another shared plate to top off another unforgettable meal at this rustic Log Cabin we still remember being Shade's Cafe!

Danny was absolutely incredible! The food was delicious and although the space is smaller it’s super cozy and vibrant enough to still be able to hear your tables conversation. My fiancé and I had the best seat in the house and we had an amazing time. The drinks were fantastic along with the delicious Jackson, Roo and Crouching tiger rolls. We had some of the daily specials as well. All around an amazing experience!

A guy preparing the sushi kept opening the cooler doors and touching raw fish with the same hand and putting it back the same way without cleaning his hands and put a receipt on the chopping table to write on it without wiping off the block or his hands also. When I brought it up to a waitress she just stared at me and when I asked if she understood the problem I was saying since it's raw fish she said "I don't know what to tell you." I told her I'll just pay for the sake and leave and when she was getting my check I suspect she was talking about it to a other waitress cause she kept looking between me and her. I was excited to try the food it sucks this is how it went.
Amazing spot! Was initially skeptical of good sushi so far from the ocean but it was some of the best we’ve had. They also have fresh wasabi which is fantastic and infinitely better than the fake stuff. Highly recommend!

One of the best sushi experiences we’ve ever had! Everything was fantastic, fresh, and even creative (wagyu and foie nigiri and the toasted sesame ice cream that were out of this world). Service was awesome. They have a full menu with specialty rolls and exciting sashimi that are reasonable and a small fill-in menu with terrific and affordable nigiri, sashimi, rolls and hand rolls. Service was excellent, friendly, and engaging. This place is an absolute gem!

Save yourself some money. Online photos show colorful sushi plates and nice decor but it is a huge disappointment. It’s as if they learned how to make rolls on YouTube and decided to open a sushi restaurant to feed the hungry tourists who lack options and will pay anything. PASS!
