AVOID! okay I said it but it saddens me. The restuarant has potential, the fresh squeezed cocktails and healthy food items are interesting and differentiated. However, the service is an absolute disaster and management knows it and chooses to ignore it. Beside having a server who lacked class and told us she doesn’t like to eat healthy, she literally took our order and then disappeared into other tables, never to be seen again. If we didn’t ask, our order would have been ignored. The appts came fast but dinner took an additional 35 mins. No follow-ups, no dessert offers and no check. Had to beg to pay. Some entrees terribly overpriced (brisket $29) for what you get. All we got was a $3.5 free cookie and an “I’m embarrassed” from the owner. I would stay away until they learn that a good menu and nice balcony alone don’t make for a great or even good experience.
After a long day of hiking my friend and I were looking forward to having a hearty and healthy meal. We both have severe allergies, we have to be very careful when we eat out. The decor here is spectacular as were our Paloma cocktails. My vegan burger was absolutely amazing, no complaints there. However, my friend ordered the Bombay bowl and let the server know she has severe allergies to mustard and almonds and within three bites of her food starting having a reaction. I waved down someone (manager/ owner) and let her know something happened that was causing her to have a reaction. She came back after checking in the kitchen saying there was no way there was anything in the food and asked if she wanted something else. She ended up asking to have her meal replaced with the vegan lasagna. When we got the check and had been upcharged $9 for the lasagna and asked, we’re told “well, I comped the Bombay bowl and she asked for the lasagna?!” And when I guess I looked shocked by her response she said “you don’t seem to be very happy about that.” In the end her meal was comped but we left feeling super uncomfortable and not likely to return. Side-note, I went to the bathroom and on the way you can see the kitchen and it was a mess. It was the end of the night but it was messy enough that the cross-contamination probability is high. If you have severe allergies just be super mindful when eating here.
My review is based purely on bad service and food quality. The Vietnamese beef soup was so bland even the beef had no taste whatsoever. The service we received was poor and staff were more interested in catching up with friends than helping customers. However our friends who have gluten allergy love the variety and options here.
Ok. Ive travelled... A lot. Somehow this place has found its way to my top 3 favorite places to eat. Finding good food up here (any good food, not just vegan) is tough. This place is stylish, quiet, and respectable in menu. Go... If you're in Jackson, go. Its pricey, but it's worth it. From the service, to the french fries, everything was perfect.
The restaurant is very nice. White washed brick, beautiful light fixtures and a silver crushed velvet bench along the back wall. They have a bar but don't have Coke or Pepsi products. I guess a person gets a jack and Natural cola. My husband ordered a $10 order of truffle fries. He wasn't that hungry. I ordered the Lotus Club vegan with blue corn chips. The waitress came back to ask if I wanted turkey or tempeh on the club. I got a little nervous and said tempeh and vegan again. I went to this restaurant b/c the menu has vegan printed next to certain items. When the Lotus Club came it was amazing. The onions were marinated in red vinegar. Every bite was delicious. I ate a few of my husband's truffle fries and they were delicious as well. We were presented with the check and paid. I have heard ppl complain about getting a check while still eating but I don't care really. The sandwich was gone. I had ate a few of the blue corn chips and my husband had ate half of his fries. The waitress came and grabbed up our plates and took off with them. We just got up and left. We went straight to our car and drove out of Jackson WY. Never to return.
Staff is very friendly. Went for the 1st time and ordered take out Truffle fries and Truffle /Asparagus Soup. The fries we not good ? But the soup was amazing?. They also have great muffins?? . The donut I tried was not good to me , dense and Def not like a reg donut. I get an amazing apple cider donut at home in Pittsburgh at the gluten free goat bakery -Amazing!
I had mango spring rolls and beef pho. The presentation of the food is very nice. I enjoyed the rolls even though the given sauces were a bit too heavy. The Pho was very bland and so it caught me by surprise. Unless it is your first time eating pho there is no way that you will appreciate this dish here. If you stick to appertizers/side dishes and their cookies I think you will be happy. Be the judge! Also they don't have any asian beers and so I went down the street to Bon Appetit Thai for my drink and dessert.
What a beautiful spot to dine, and delicious healthy spot to eat. Really appreciate their attention to detail in ALL things. The interior design is definitely noteworthy. And, our server was sweet and helpful. We left impressed!!!!
Pricey organic food offerings. My husband had elk tacos that he considered bland which was disappointing because they were pricey. (2 for $14). They did include small sides of black bean and brown rice. The Local JHW beer was probably the best thing about his meal. I tried a Golden Latte with coconut milk, and was a little put off by the grated ginger root...there has to be a better way to get that delicious ginger flavor in this anti-inflammatory elixir. If I come back to Jackson Hole, I may try Lotus again, it has potential.
The menu looked great online. We got there and it had been closed down, even though we had confirmed reservations. So disappointing 😫.

No hostess on a Sunday night in mid-August. Couldn't get attention of anyone to seat us though we had reservations. Pretty screwed up at the front.
Food is good but skimpy overpriced
Great vegan options. The spring rolls were terrific. Wish we were staying longer so we could come back and try more dishes.
Terrible. Food was nothing like it was described. They said they were closing on Sunday and we should have left because it was God AWFUL
Unfortunately third times was NOT a charm; service and food mediocre at best The only true organic/vegan restaurant for miles, Lotus has not been disappointing until this time. Two waiters, neither efficient Food arrived luke warm as if it was sitting in the kitchen for a while before being served; ordered bison burger medium well and received it medium rare instead with bacon hardly fried Give it another/last chance off season
