Elk Carpaccio earn them 2 stars. Everything else was horrible. After a long day at the Parks one is too hungry to wait for something else to be prepared because the $60 “house specialty ribeye” is tough and the waitress response is “well you ate half of it”.

Extremely overpriced.
We we’re offered two specials of the day, and we decided to go for T-bone steak. The menu tells us that is ok prices there, but the steak wasn’t in the menu. When we got the bill, the T-bone steak costed 215 dollars!!! NOT worth it at all. And the server didn’t tell us the price when we ordered it. Our bill landes on 331 dollars. Feels really like a scam.

315.00 for 2 adults and 1 child and they have the petty need to charge 3.00 for horseradish. Hey, here’s an idea to squeeze a little more out of your customers. Maybe you can charge $.25 per ice cube? We Will never be back

My wife and I dined here to celebrate our two year anniversary and the experience could not have been any better. I’ve been wanting a reason to go “downstairs” for years and now that it finally happened, I will be back.

I opted for the the NY Strip, as I did not want to be “too full to have fun” on the dance floor and around town and it was great. My wife loved the Trout dinner and we split a baked potato and wild mushroom side which was out of this world. My wife also said it was the best dirty martini she’s ever had.

We were excited to try this steakhouse and thought it would be the highlight of our trip. Unfortunately my daughter’s steak was overcooked and mine was burnt on the outside and too pink on the inside. The service was terrible as well. We waited more than 10 mins before we were even greeted. The manager offered us dessert to compensate for 120+ worth of steak that could not be eaten. Don’t believe the hype. This place is not the place.

The Elk is absolutely wonderful, so velvety and packed with flavor, and it was cooked perfectly. Everything we had was excellent and so was the service. I'd go again.

Not a good experience at all. Seated quickly, but at least ten minutes to be acknowledged, yet our server, Vincent, was standing a few feet away and typing on a handheld device.

He would say something to us as he quickly walked past, such as to ask about drinks or apps or food, then disappear for ten minutes. Then he'd appear on the side of the dining room typing for several minutes on his device, maybe drop something at our table and take off without asking if we were fine or if we needed anything else. We had to flag him down and ask for bread.

Vincent has absolutely no time for us at all, yet he was very attentive to a group of six guys sitting behind us that were talking about real estate. A couple of his other tables seemed to be getting ignored also.

The food, two smash burgers, was pretty basic, but we're lucky they okay because Vincent was nowhere to check on us anyway.

However, when it came time to pay, Vincent had all the time in the world. He swiped my card and held the payment device for me. He brought up the tip page, which only has options for 20%, 25%, and 28%. ??? He made sure to hold it in front of me so we both could see the tip page and he looked back and forth between me and the tip screen a couple times. Seriously??!! Supervising my tip selection!! ??

Avoid the Cowboy restaurant and bar, the locals do. It's a tourist trap and overpriced. You WILL BE disappointed...

Start to finish this was the best decision. Food selections were wonderful, service was great, taste was beyond expectations and the manager, Chris, could not have been more superb. Fine dining for sure

Very disappointing experience. They wouldn’t allow a guest to leave strawberries off a fresh salad, it was take it or leave it as is. Baked potato was hard. Waitress was inattentive, even forgetting to get one our orders in a party of nine. Only one bathroom for the steakhouse and saloon. Million dollar Steakhouse? Prolly should downgrade to Hundred dollar steakhouse from our experience.

I barely post reviews, but the food here was insane. I might have been lucky, but every single dish i asked was out of this world. The mushrooms extremely fresh, the lobster bisket as creamy as i have ever had it... and the iron cast ribeye, was delicious... if you are coming to Jackson and you don't eat here, you are missing the best dining in the state.

This is a great place. The food is served in large portions. Highly recommend the ribeye steak which is a 17oz steak cut. It was so tender and cooked to perfection. The house grind trim burger is also very good.

Parking: They only have street parking and it might be a couple blocks away.

Took my wife out for our 40th Anniversary dinner. I ordered their Bison steak. It was horrible. It had a green paste on top that tasted like it came out of the lower reaches of the Bisons digestive track. I told the server that it tasted terrible to me, she blew me off and said most people liked it. My wife’s New York steak tasted ok, but was a little tough. $140.00 for dinner with no drinks and no dessert. I highly recommend going somewhere else for a good meal when visiting Jackson. This place was a serious disappointment.

The food was terrible and the service was worse. my wife and I went there for our 40th Anniversary dinner. I ordered the Bison steak (I love Bison and have had it many times), my wife had the New York strip. her steak tasted ok, but was really tough considering it was a $50 steak. mine was covered with green paste that tasted like rotten seaweed. I told the server it tasted very fowl, her only reply was "most people like it". no accommodation was made or offered. it was a really crappy meal for $140.00. do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
