We stopped by Picnic on our last morning in Jackson and before the flight home. There is plenty of parking in the lot and along the street. The restaurant is cute and clean. The yute ordered a Bada Bing (Italian meat style) and he devoured it. He said it was delicious. I had the Chicken Zattar panini and it was also delicious with a thick piece of moist chicken inside. I saved half for the flight. The lady had a cup of lentil soup and it was great. For deserts we had pumpkin...
The price for a non-dairy milk espresso drink is criminal, but the truffled prosciutto sandwich is the best sandwich ever made and should never be taken off the menu (here, Persephone, or otherwise)
I am visiting Jackson and tried the breakfast at Picnic. High quality food and service. The bread looked and tasted homemade. The cappuccino was spot on. I was so impressed that I went back later in the day for lunch! The chicken and wild rice soup was loaded with chicken and veggies and of course, I needed to have another slice of that multigrain bread.
