Great SMASHBURGER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This was a spot we just happened across, and it was quite good. We hadn’t heard of it before, we just randomly walked by and thought it looked promising. We checked the menu and walked upstairs to the dining area and it looked nice. Lots of big wooden tables, a bar (it was hoppin’ when we were there), and several tv’s with sports playing. We started off with some Elk & Pork Spring Rolls. They were very good. Piping hot, and the Thai Sweet Chili Sauce was fire. For our main dishes, I went with the Bison Burger, which was very tasty. My wife went with the Chicken Baked Maca-Maca Cheese. We washed them down with a Huckleberry Collins and a Highwayman (craft beer). Our service (Erik) was fast and friendly, the bathroom was clean and the walkway to it was a bit of a maze with cool little mural paintings on the wall. We really enjoyed our spontaneous lunch at the Roadhouse Brewing Company. There are so many great places to eat in beautiful Jackson, and Roadhouse is one of them.
So yummy! Items our group ordered: Highpoint Cider, Bison Burger and Fries 10/10. Highwayman Pilsner, Venison Tostadas 10/10. Huckleberry Collins, Tinga Chicken Tacos 10/10. The service was great as well.
Saw this place while walking around decided to give it a try. One good thing was the pretzel appetizer! That was absolutely amazing! Other than that not that great. It wasn’t super busy when we went and the service was not very good. The waiter only came by once and we had to ask someone else for our checks after waiting about 20 minutes after we finished our food. The other thing is the drink prices! Me and my girlfriend both got ginger ale just a basic soda, they charged 5 dollars per soda no free refills! I know it’s. A brewery but come on! If you are going to charge 5 dollars for a soda it should at the minimum be free refills! The music inside was so loud that we couldn’t even hear eachother talk across the table! Definitely would not recommend this place!
Food was ok, no issues there. Server was decent.
The problem was the manager at the time, Nick? Maybe. He sat us and another table 30 minutes before closing and our food arrived 10 minutes before closing, right at closing time with plates still full of food he told everyone to wrap it up and leave. Crazy, do better with your service.
Amazing craft beer, not bad food and the ambience was really awesome. Perfect on a hot summer day.
Wandered here when we had an unexpected windshield repair at safelife. Wonderful people, great beers, really good happy hour. After a very long day, this place went out of their way to accommodate us and 2 dogs (very dog friendly).
Top notch beers and you can't beat the prices. You can't find a better deal in the county.
The beer tender was awesome! I enjoyed the Harlet Vixen! The beer tender really new the beers!
By far the best craft beer I had during a month long stay in the Jackson area. I can't forget to mention that all of the beers were $5 at the taproom compared to the standard $8-9 per pint pricing in the area. If you want awesome craft beer go here and don't think about going anywhere else.
Restaurantji Recommends
Went to watch my friends band, Anthem Of Kings formerly Locked out of Eden, play their original music. Great selection of beers. Although I didn't partake of any my friends and band members enjoyed several pints.
Not sure why the ratings were so low but this place was fun and had great food. Waiter (British dude) was super nice. Bison burger was bomb
Their automated tipping was fraudulent! 25% was actually 40%, 20% was closer to 30% and 15% was closer to 25%. Good food and beer doesn’t make it right to steal from the customers.
Well, this was just about the worst food and service we've had in a long time. If it wasn't for the local clientele, we're pretty sure they would not be in business. You can tell those customers receive preferential treatment. We were a party of 5 (a ticket of 2 and a ticket of 3) and all of our meals were rather tasteless. Also, we felt that we were bothering and inconveniencing our server - "D.V.". He was bad. When it came time to pay, we used the table kiosk . But he just about hovered over me as I decided what tip to give. That was rude. I decided to give him zero tip since that was the type of service we received. I cannot remember when I did that last. But the worst part was when I saw that they ended up either over-charging me or they ended up charging me a tip anyway. My bill was $77.38, but the amount taken out of my bank account was $91.98! I was going to call them to dispute this charge, but with reading the other reviews here, I decided it wasn't worth it, that'd it'd be better if I give this review. On our way out, walking down their steps to exit the restaurant, we thought of warning the waiting customers to go somewhere else, don't bother eating here. Bad food, Bad service, Bad server, Bad experience. Don't waste your time and money here.
Go elsewhere.
Please see reviews before entering! Or enter at your own risk... Absolutely horrible... They'll steal your money! If I could put Zero Stars... I would!
Our food was dry and bland... Our server worse... Daniel V. Seemed to be annoyed by our presence. As we, five of us in total, ordered or food it ended up with me ordering last... I wanted a burger with an add on of bacon, which was an extra 2.50, and after I said "I want the burger, and..." he just walked away... absolutely rude... He should be glad I'm not allergic to anything, otherwise certain stuff on the burger could hurt people...
He doesn't know us... And he doesn't care...
And what's worse... paying... my father, who was paying for my share and his, was told by our waiter... that it would be easier for him, my dad, to push a percentage for the tip then any other button... the table, in shock of what we heard, sat in uncomfortable awkward silence before our waiter spoke up once more, this time a bit more annoyed, saying... "or not..." My dad due to our experience there, put a zero tip... our full order was 70$, our receipt... 90$... they pulled out 20$ for a tip!!! I have never experienced a restaurant so bad that a waiter couldn't wait long enough to get our full order... but could wait long enough to watch us pay!? Absolutely not! No!
Do not go here!!!
