Service and management. ????. Dirty menus, wait for seating and there was 6 of us and 5 large tables with no one for a half hour. The water had a really bad taste. Waiter never asked about another refill ora drink. Had to go get waiter to get our Bill . He was to busy talking to a coworker.

Our server Luke saw to it that we had what we needed and did an excellent job. We had a blast. The pot pie was delicious and the chicken fried steak was perfect! Highly recommend it too!

The place is super fun and has good vibes! I ordered a steak, which was delicious and flavorful, but also tough. Which was a bit of a bummer because it tasted so good, but I could barely cut through, and chew parts of the steak.The reason for 3 stars rather than 4 is because of the service. We weren’t checked on until we were almost done with our food, so most of the meal our cups were empty. I watched so many servers chatting at the front counter (ours especially). I just didn’t feel well attended, and it wasn’t because they were overly busy, they were just distracted by each other.I would come again if I’m ever in town, because the food was good, and it’s a fun little place! It was just a bummer because I was excited when I came and didn’t leave nearly as excited.
My husband and ate here at Sidewinders years ago. Visiting Jackson again and came back, so glad we did. They have great food with a nice casual atmosphere. They have a nice dining area and bar. I ordered their French onion soup and a Caesar salad which was very good. My husband had their Swiss and mushroom hamburger and fries. They do have a number of sides to choose from besides fries. He enjoyed his meal. I like the atmosphere at Sidewinders. It's casual and clean. We had great service, our server did a great job.
I've had to be gluten-free for 13 years, and one of my most sought-after foods is a French Dip sandwich. In all that time, I've only found one place in Calgary that serves it, but I found it again here! It was beyond heavenly. Rich, flavorful au jus, tender meat, a perfect balance of cheese, and soft bread that held its integrity almost as well as the normal stuff. I want to plot my return to Jackson just so I can enjoy this sandwich again! My drink was meh, and the other seven folks at my table were unimpressed with their food, but my utter ecstasy over this gluten-free French Dip supersedes all. A five-star sandwich!
